Chapter 25

Mitch' s POV

      I had finished recording for the day and all.the videos were uploaded, so I decided to check on Coral. I went to her room and I couldn't find her anywhere when I first walked in. I decided to check the bathroom to see if she was in there. The door was open an  I knew she wouldn't just forget to close the door, but I checked to whole bathroom anyway and I still couldn't find her. I was starting to get a little worried, but then I decide  to check her closet.  No Coral and then I checked her recording room and she wasn't there either. I started freaking out again. Then I thought she might've of gone to the park an  left a note somewhere downstairs. I checked in the kitchen, the living room, in the door and I still couldn't find her. Now I was seriously freaking out thinking that she might've ran away again probably thinking that we would betray her and tell her secret. I promised I wouldn't tell anyone because  I know how much is on the line if I tell her and I don't want her to leave or go away because I screwed up.

      "Mitch are you ok?" Jerome and  me

      "No I think Coral ran away because I can't find her."

       "Did you check the third floor?"

        "Yeah"

        "Did you check the second floor?"

        "Yes."

         "Did you check this entire floor?"

         "Yep"

         "Did you check the basement?"

          "I don't even think she k does we have a basement."

        "Okay she probably just wanted to go to the ocean and swim around probably since she hasn't gone in for such a long time."

        "Yeah I think your right."

Coral' s POV

     I woke up from my little underwater cave an  realized how long I was sleeping by looking at the time on my phone. All merpeople's phones are waterproof no matter if you bought it on land. I should've told Mitch I would be gone he's probably freaking out right now. I thought I decided I would have to use my power of talking to people with my mind on him, so he knows I'm okay. I knew he wouldn't be able to answer, but it was better then having him stress out over nothing. Mitch I'm okay you don't have to worry I'm okay. ( bold italics is Mitch regular italics is Coral)AhhMitch thougt Coral is that you. He is able to speak to me if he is speaking in his mind he just can't speak to me in my mind. Yes I'm fine so you don't have to worry. Okay, but where are you. I'm in the ocean.Okay that's fine, but next time please tell me. Okay. With that I ended up breaking our little talk. I was bored, so I started swimming around looking where I should go. I ended up swimming into town. I stared into a window of a satire looking at the clothes they have. The only clothes mermaid can wear is either a shirt or a tant. A tant are like pants, but they go over your tail so your tail is a different color because regular mermaids can't change the color of their tails, and it is still hard for royal mermaids to change the color of their tales, so it just easier for everyone. I'm thinking if I should get the purple or pink tail. I decided to get neither since I really don't need one. There are no clothes for mermen since they don't really need to wear any. Mermaids actually don't have to wear clothes themselves since its not a law, but most mermaids wear clothes and there are only a few who don't wear them.

      I started swimming back to castle, so I can get ready to go back to the surface.

      "Hey Coral I don't you left already, but where are you going?" My brother Caspian asked

       "I'm going to the castle, so I can leave."

        "Okay just don't forget the trial is in a couple of weeks."

        "Okay I won't forget, sea ya."

       "Bye Coral see you soon."

      I almost forgot about the trial. The trial was for to see if the girl who was to stop the guy killed my parents should be convicted since it was her job to stop him and since she didn't my parents died. I hope she get convicted because it's her fault since my brothers hate me and why my family is broken apart. Then I also don't want her to get convicted because it could me death for since she is a royal mermaid as well and she could enjoy up being faced with death.

       Talking about royalty there are different colonies in each ocean which when all together end up making a country. A colony is like a state, but it is as small as a city. There are kings and/or kings in each one. She is the princess of the colony Mermaidia and her name is Mermaidia. I live in the colony Oceanica. All of the colonies have names that relate to the ocean. I also love in the Pacific ocean while she lives in the Atlantic ocean. About royalty the thing about royalty is that anything you get charged of its always worse than the average merperson. Let's say if one of the guys told Youtube that mermaids existed j would get punished for it since I told them. A merperson would either be sentenced to jail for life or get their head chopped off. A royal merperson would get their head chopped off no matter what. If she got convicted her head would be chopped off and she is the same age as me,13.

     I let that thought go aside, so I can go make home. They way I go back home is the same way I got here, threw a portal. I will have to swim to the surface and I will automatically be at home. Let's say if I just wanted to swim at the surface I could stop th  portal from happening. I swam with all my might and went threw the portal and landed on my bed.

      I smelled pizza and walked downstairs and found it sitting on the table in the kitchen. I also found all the guys sitting around the table eating pizza.

      "Hey Coral your back." Mitch said

      "Yeah you started to make Mitch freak out. If he was only 30 years older he would've gotten a heart attack and died." Jerome said I smiled.

      "I'm sorry I didn't mean to kill you." I told him while hugging him. Everybody started laughing except Mitch.

      "Ha ha ha very funny."he stated

      "Let's watch a movie." Adam suggested He got a chorus of yes's.

      "Let's watch The Little Mermaid." Mitch said. I started chocking of the slice of pizza I had just eaten." Are you ok" Mitch asked

      "Yeah I'm just chocking on a slice of pizza it's not that harmful."

      "I'm guessing you don't like that movie." Jerome stated

       "No it's just that all three of the Little Mermaid movies are based on real events.

       "WHAT!" All the guys said in unison

      "Yep Ariel is real and she is still alive today, but she is sadly in jail for as long as the queen of Mermaidia wants her to since she broke the law in swimming around as a mermaid and showing she was a mermaid."(A.N. that scene is at the last five minutes of the second movie. The movie is called The Little Mermaid 2 Return To The Sea.)
    The guys just went a long with it even though they probably have no idea what I'm talking about. Well your probably wondering why Ariel didn't get her head chopped off because that is one of the newer laws and it wasn't around when it happened. Also  reason why she is in Mermaidia because that is the richest colony and that's where all the rich people live and it has the most well protected jail, so no criminal can escape. With that I ended up falling asleep.
