Chapter 30

Coral' s POV

      Today I woke up tired and upset. Today was Friday(it's June by the way June 15th.) There are only 4 days left before the trial starts and I really wasn't looking forward to it since I'm going to have spend time with all my brothers including Glade and Gull. If we win this I bet they would be back to their old selves, but that is just a dream. I bet they are still going to hate me for as ling as I will live. I also have to see them so we can get some evidence together for the trial, so Mermaida is guilty. Mermaida is not her real name her real name is Kayla. Mermaida is just her mermaid name, but she usually go's.by Kayla. I have to head to the net world.

    I started looking for Mitch, but I couldn't find him.Maybe he is recording I better not disturb him. I thought I just decided to text him instead. I hopped into the portal of the net world and ended back into my room. My brother's were.going to be in the library. I swam threw a door way, but the funny thing is that there is no door. Merpeople do use doors,.but sometimes they get in the way, so we just take then out. I swam threw lots if corridors and sadly had to swim past my parents bedroom. I swam inside, everything was exactly where they left it. A tear ran down my cheek I was really missed them I wished they were here.

     "I miss them too." Caspian told me. He started hugging me and I instantly felt better. He and Cascade can always make me feel better with a hug. I wish Gull and Glade would do the same they also made me feel better. "Come on Coral we are.waiting for you."

     We finally made it to the library after swimming in silence.

     "Finally you came after what seemed like a million years." My brother Cascade told me in a very cheery voice

      "It took you to long next time we are going to have to tie you to a leash, so you could swim faster."

       "I dint think that would make her go faster I think that would just kill her which is still okay." My brothers Gull and Glade remarked.

        "Come on let's just get this over and down with." My brothers Cascade and Caspian replied simultaneously

      I laughed at this I always like it when they said thing at the same time because the always gave eachother a confused look afterwords.

        "Okay so if we want the jury on our side we are going to need a video of what happened with her and the killer." Gull said

        "The thing is that there were no cameras anywhere close to what happened." Caspian replied

         "She has cameras everywhere we could just ask her for footage." I stated All my brothers looked like I was crazy afterwords.

      "So you are going to ask her if you could borrow some footage so you could win the trial in which she is technically out enemy in this." Glade explain

      "Or if one of you guys no how to back then you can hack into her computer which probably have all the footage. Do any of you know how to hack?" I asked all my brothers shook my head.

      "I guess you will just have to ask her" my brothers Glade and Gull said simultaneously. "You just asked for your death wish even better." They just laughed while I started to swim to the Atlantic ocean since I live in the Pacific.

        The thing is my brothers are right I could be asking for my death wish because she isn't the most nicest mermaid even thought she is my age. The last time I had seen her was last month since once every month all the future kings/queens meet eachother and talk about things. Even then she list threatening, but all she does is read a book and does nothing else. We usually have to choose partners and since there is an odd number of us we all pick everyone else except her. We all are just scared if her, but she doesn't even show the slightest evidence that she is going to kill us. I bet she wouldn't even go if she wasn't forced to go. I do feel bad for her because she is rank the most hated mermaid and she's only 13. The other thing is that she is the youngest princess. I'm older by her by a couple of months.

     I started super speeding to the Atlantic ocean, so it would not take me all day. When I finally I started looking for the colony Mermaidia. I had finally found it after a couple of minutes and I swam to the castles passing all the mansions as I swam by. When I got to the castles the guard let me in and I swam to the throne room ans found the queen. The queen' s name is Miranda and she is the total opposite of her daughter Kayla.

     "Hello Coral what brings you here we didn't expect to see you for 4 more days."

     "I just need to see Kayla."

     "She's in here room down the hall to the right."

      "Thank you." Either I would die or come out alive. My adventure awaits.
