Not so long ago, I made a mistake..

I used to feel like I was at the edge of a cliff and I couldn't move away.

I fell endlessly into melancholy, but I never seemed to hit the ground,

I was lost in a void of dark nothingness.

I was alone,

I couldn't find myself no matter how long I searched, I couldn't find what I felt I had lost.

A mask of happiness, a forced smile,

Endurance.

It was easy to laugh on the outside,
even though I was truly crying out, inwardly my hand despairing grasping for something, anything,

It was easy to stay calm, even though I was crawling in my own skin, writhing in pain, desperate to scream.

I used to feel like I was lost and no one could find me, I couldn't find myself.

That all changed when I met him,

He managed to break me out of the maze of thoughts, showed me real happiness.

I fell, just in a different way,

He took me to a place I hadn't been in a long time, gave me hope when I felt unsure, unworthy,

Insecure.

A bottomless pit, I slipped, a long way down, no return, yet I could see it, his hand stretched out towards me, I could almost reach it..

Or at least I believed it before life happened and that hand, it retracted and he disappeared..

note - the plot is mainly based on the fact that most characters are dancers or do things that are related to dance

about - one or more characters have a passion or interest for dancing. Most of the time the characters are professional dancers and/or choreographers, students or teachers

Dance AU – Is an AU that has one or two characters that have a passion or interest for dancing. They go out to clubs or join a dance studio to learn. Or they own a dance studio and prefer to teach it. Sometimes the entire cast are students of a dance school.

- Highschool/College AU -

about -  this is when the characters are shown in high school or in college together. They are often done with characters who canonically meet later in life, altering or entirely overwriting their original backstories. Similar to this AU is the Boarding School AU and the Elementary School AU.
