Chapter 15

The weekend had arrived, which means it's time for Luna and I to go dress shopping. I was a little excited, I was hoping to find a dress that wasn't too extreme.

I was in my car, on my way to Lunas house. I wasn't paying attention to the scenery around me, that was until it had started looking familiar.

Rosy's old apartment is in this neighborhood.

I shook off that thought and continued driving. Ignoring any memories that tried to flood my brain. I passed the apartments and soon pulled into lunas driveway. Luna was waiting for me, they saw me pull in and immediately made their way into the car

"You think you're gonna find the dress today?" Luna asked as I pulled out the driveway and started our way downtown, to the only bridal shop we have in the town of hurricane

"I hope so" I responded to their question, I had my doubts but did my best to remain hopeful, I couldn't help but worry about if Rosy would show up

"Oh come on, if you don't find it today, i'm sure you'll find it soon" Luna said, somehow picking up on my worry

I found a parking spot and we both stepped out of the car, I looked up at the shop, taking a deep breath and checking my surroundings before walking in. I didn't see anything worth worrying any more over and Luna and I made our way inside

Upon walking in an employee greeted us, they wore the simple all black attire and their hair was in a high ponytail.

"Hi, how may I help you ladies today?" The women was hopeful, I caught a glimpse of luna cringing at the use of the word 'ladies'

"I'm looking for a wedding dress" I said, The women's face lit up and she clasped her hands together

"I'd love to help you with that! Please follow me" The women turned her back towards us and started leading the way, Luna and I followed

"Oh! My apologies! The names Anna" The women stopped infront of a door

"This is Luna," I looked over at luna who gave anna a wave "and i'm Y/N" I finished my sentence off, Anna smiled as she opened the door and walked in, Luna and I once again followed behind her

The room had a few chairs around a mirror that was placed on the wall and a square in the corner that had curtains surrounding it, assuming that's where I try on dresses

"So what kind of dress are you looking for?" Anna asked as she had grabbed a tape measure and hung it around her neck

"Something that's elegant but not like ball gown...if that makes any sense" I said finishing my sentence with an awkward laugh

"I'll see what I can find, if you'd like you can also look around" Anna said as she stepped out of the room, Luna and I decided to take that offer

Luna walked away to a row of dressed and I walked off to a different row, I scanned over the ocean of white that laid infront of me, a few minutes had passed and I couldn't find anything that I liked, which I suppose is good since Anna came back with an armful of dresses

We all stepped back into the room, Anna put some dresses on a rack, Luna sat down on a chair and I stood in the middle of the square, the curtains were closed

"If you need help putting any of the dresses on please let me know" Anna called from the other side of the curtain

I looked over the dresses and made a decision of which dress to put on first. My eyes caught a glimpse of this dress that seemed like it would hug my body, I slipped out of my clothes and into the dress

I stepped out of the curtain and made my way to the mirror, Luna and Anna's eyes widened as they saw the dress on my figure.

The dress hugged my torso and the lower half of the dress seemed to give me enough space to walk without feeling trapped, it was a beautiful dress but not for me

"Not it??" Anna asked, I looked up and seen her giving me a small frown in the mirror

"No...i'm sorry" I felt a little bad, I felt as if I was wasting her time

"Don't be sorry! this is my job!" Anna perked up, replacing the guilt with reassurance "go try on another dress, hun" Anna held her arm out in the direction of the other dresses

I stepped away from the mirror and walked back into the closed off square, I slipped the dress off, I put it back in its hanger and set it on a different rack, I grabbed another dress and put it on

This time when I stepped out, Luna wasn't there...neither was Anna. I looked around for them, I found them standing outside, seemingly conversing over something. I walked out and decided to join the conversation

"Sooo what I miss?" I said making my presence known, they both turned towards me

"Luna here was eyeing this suit" Anna said, I looked in between them and saw a black and white suit on a mannequin

"Is this what you wanna wear to the wedding?" I ask as I picked the front of the dress up and walked closer to the pair

"Dresses aren't really my thing" Luna said with a shrug of their shoulders, It didn't take me long to make my mind up

"I think you'll look amazing in it" I said, Lunas face lit up with pure joy

"Would you like to try it on?" Anna asked, Luna nodded her head. Anna took the suit off the mannequin and handed it to Luna "here you go, dear" Luna took the suit from anna and hurried away to get changed, I walked back to look into the mirror at the dress

Once again the dress wasn't for me, the dress was similar to the last one but had more of a flowy skirt. I snapped out of my thoughts when I heard someone clear there throat. I looked up and was met with Luna dressed in the suit

"So I was right, you do look amazing in that" I said as I stepped away from the mirror and let luna walk infront if it. They looked at themselves in awe

"I'm getting this" Luna said not breaking their gaze away from their reflection

—Many dress try on later—

I stood infront if the mirror, wearing a dress with a black corset with white lace in the back for the top half and leading down into white, the edge of the dress had a lacy black all round it.

I loved how I looked in it, once I saw myself in the mirror I couldn't stop smiling. I felt as though this dress was the one. The traditional white in the wedding dresses never really was for me.

"Is this the one?" Anna asked, her hands clasped together in anticipation, I thought for a moment before answering

"I think so" I replied, I spun back around to face anna, she now had a smile on her face, happy I found my dress

"Perfect! I'll ring it up for you once you're changed!" Anna excited said, I walked back to the square and quickly got changed.

I stepped out and handed the dress to Anna, she already had the suit up front. Luna and I followed her back to the front

It didn't take Anna too long to ring the dress and suit up, Anna gave me the dress with a quick congrats. I thanked her and Luna and I left.

"Do you wanna keep the dress at my place until the wedding?" Luna asked as they carefully placed the formal wear in the back

"Yes please," I said getting into the drivers seat, Luna closed the back door and quickly got in the passenger seat. I started the car when I felt my phone buzz

Immortal Finace: Lunch? Luna can come

I read the name and laughed, forgetting I changed Williams contact name to that

"Wanna meet william for lunch?" I asked looking over at Luna

"Good yes i'm starving" Luna dramatically said, I laughed at them before replying back to william

Y/N: sure, where at?

Immortal Finace: Local diner, i'm already here, just waiting for you, my love <3

I smiled at the last part of his text before putting my phone down and starting my way to the diner. I felt good about today, all my worries have seemed to be washed away
