A child's voice was calling out my name from the darkness, I kept looking around but to my luck no one was there.
"Y/n" I snapped my head in the direction of the voice as it called out to me again, this time I was finally able to see something or someone.
I started walking towards them but not by choice, my legs just started moving and it felt as if I had no control over them.
As I approached the mysterious figures their characteristics became clearer, I have seen both of their spirits before but never in the same room, they did pass in different locations after all.
"You're not suppose to be here" the little girl said with confusion, she finally looked up at me, those same green eyes that I seen all those years ago were looking back at me, somehow still full of life.
I looked over at the boy that was standing next to her, he was looking up at me with the same expression his sister had, his arm still clutching that plushie that you would think is glued to him.
"Elizabeth.." I said as I crouched down to their level, I put one hand out and touched her face as my expression softened, my gaze then shifted to the boy standing next to her "Evan...it's so great to see you both" I put my other hand on evans cheek
"If you're here then that means that you're dead" Evan said, I dropped my hands and let out a sigh
"I guess you would be right but then that means I get to spend as much time as you want with you two" I said trying to stay hopeful but I had a deep sadness, I wouldn't be with William, I won't be able to watch Michael grow into his adult years, I'll miss out on so much with charlie, Henry, Luna.
"No...you need to go. It's not time." Elizabeth said as if she was concerned, somewhere in the darkness thunder had started to roar and in the distance purple lighting could be seen, lighting up what it could in the void.
"Like Evan said, I'm dead, hunny I have no where to go but here" I said as I put a smile on my face and looked in between the two, Elizabeth shook her head as the thunder and lightning made its way over us, it started raining but this rain was something I've never seen before. It was purple and in any direction I looked all I could see was rain.
"He did it." They both said in unison, the stopped looking around and looked at me with a smile "we'll meet again someday, mom." The rain got heavier and soon all I was seeing was purple, Elizabeth and Evan were no where to be seen, I started yelling for them as the rain covered me but no one showed up.
Everything started to spin and the ground gave in and I started free falling, I don't know where I was falling too or if I would ever land but the rain followed me all the down. Everything went black once more right before I hit the ground.
I started to open my eyes, I tried to move but a pain in my stomach made me lay back down. I winched as I moved my shirt to see what was causing this pain. I was met with what looked like a stitched up wound but done by a toddler. My vision became clearer and so did my memory
"Oh yeah...being stabbed doesn't feel good" I laughed at my own thought as I looked around at my surroundings, it was Williams and I bedroom.
The curtains were open a bit and I couldn't tell if it was late morning or afternoon but the sun was out. I don't know how long I was staring out the window but I was pulled out of my trance by the sound of something hitting the floor.
"Holy fuck you're awake" I turned my head and seen William standing there, his eyes were wide and his mouth was wide open, I smiled at him, happy to see him once again, his mouth closed and his lips turned into a soft smile and his eyes became glossy. He rushed over to me and embraced me in a hug, I wrapped my arms around him, holding him as tight as I could.
"How long was I out for?" I questioned as he pulled away from the hug, I propped my back against the bed frame
"A week so too fucking long" William said with a hint of relief in his voice, I nodded my head and we sat in silence for a few minutes
"Where's Michael? I really wanna see him" I said as a bit of excitement made its way through my body, I missed William but I missed my son just as much, William held up his index finger as to tell me to wait, he got up and left the room. A few minutes later I heard rushed footsteps approach the room. The door flung open and in rushed Michael
"MOM!" Michael yelled as he basically jumped to my side, embracing me in a hug, William came over and he held both me and Michael. After a few moment Michael pulled away and looked at me with tears in his eyes
"I was so worried, I didn't know if you would ever wake up!" Michael tried to ramble on more but I cut him off
"Shh it's okay, I'm here now. Alive and well" I smiled as my hand caressed Michaels face. We all sat and talked for hours until Michael let out a yawn
"Maybe you should head to bed" I suggested, Michael shot his head in my direction and immediately shook his head
"No I wanna stay and talk, please" Michael begged, I let out a laugh
"I'll be here when you wake up, please get some sleep" I pleaded, Michael nodded and gave me one last hug before standing up from the bed
"Okay, goodnight mom. I love you" Michael said as he walked to the door
"Goodnight mikey, I love you too" I said back, he gave me a smile before shutting the door and walking to his room, I turned my head over to William
"So how exactly am I alive right now?" I questioned, Williams gaze shifted and he looked as if he was guilty of something
"I...I injected the remnant into you." William finished his sentence with a sigh and I couldn't help but let a sigh out too, William looked at me with a confused expression
"This isn't the reaction I was expecting..." he said quietly, I looked away from him and shrugged
"No use being upset over something I now have no control over, I'm immortal I guess, gonna have to accept that" I said calmly, I never gave William an answer but now that it's over and done with there's nothing else I can do.
"For someone who was out for a week I'm so tired" I said as a yawn escaped my lips, William let out a laugh as he moved to sit next to me
"Let's get some sleep, love" William said as he laid down and opened his arms so I could lay in them, I smiled and moved towards him, I laid my head on his chest and wrapped my leg around his
"I've missed you so much" William said as he held me close to him, he moved his head to kiss the top of my head, I moved in a little closer to his chest
"I've missed you too" I said quietly, the room fell silent for a few moments "ya know, I want my revenge"
"And we'll get it, bunny but as of right now you need sleep" William laughed, I nodded and closed my eyes already drifting off to sleep, happy to be back in his arms again
Oh what adventures lie ahead.

yes, like the liar I am I said I was done with this book but over the last month I have been rereading my own story and getting idea's and now I want to finish it so that's what i'm going to do. I don't care how long it takes I am finishing it.
