Chapter 16

(Last Week of School)

"Sorry for the interruption. I would like to announce that this Thursday, 6/3/22, we as a school will be holding prom in the gym until midnight. Also, the band from the music club will be performing. With all that said have a good day." Announced the speaker.

The class cheers in excitement. To be honest, I didn't care; once I heard the school was having a dance, I was planning on not going, but since they asked the band to play a few songs I couldn't get out of going.

(After School)

I was crossing the street when I got a text, stopping my music. "Nikki said, would you like to come over and practice a few of the songs for the dance?" said the robotic voice. I grab my phone and texted her back saying sure.

I then continued my walk but turned around to go to Nikki's instead of the park. I was about to knock on the door when I heard someone clear their throat behind me. I glance over my shoulder only to see the boy I've liked for months.

"Tubbo? What are you doing here?" I asked, turning towards him. "Well... I, mhm," the boy stuttered. "Just wanted to ask you if you'd like to go to prom with me this Thursday?" I couldn't believe it; I tried to speak but nothing came out.

"Never mind, I'll just leave, you are probably already going with someone," Tubbo said shyly. "No wait, yes, I'll go to prom with you Tubbo," I finally said after pausing.

"Really?! Great, cause I don't think the girls would be to happy if they got you a nice dress to wear just to not dance," He said while giving me a hug. "Wait what! They got me a dress," I yelled excitedly. He just laughed like it should have been obvious.

"Yes, they did. Guess they didn't tell you," Tubbo said while still smiling. "Yeah, they didn't tell me," I said back. "Come on you Lovebirds, we got some practicing to do," Wilbur said while poking his head out of Nikki's bedroom window.

(AHHHHHH! chapter 16, ok so how we feeling? What do you think Prom can foretell for these two like IDK. LOL. I actually do know aha. But to be all serious this is the last to 2nd chapter until this book ends so I hope you like the ending I'm really proud of it see how long it took. SO I hope you guys enjoyed, see you soon.
