nagito was asleep, just laying on his side breathing evenly. i was supposed to be asleep too, but i couldn't. i was just sitting on my knees in the bed next to him. i just needed him to hold me, then i could sleep. i took a deep breath in and placed my hand on his shoulder. i started to shake him a little until his eyes fluttered open.

"mmh? kazzy? what's up?" he rolled over and looked at me. i held my arms open and made grabby hands at him.

"wh...i'm tired, kazzy." nagito rubbed his forehead with his hand

"i just want- please?" i laid down next to him.

"kazzy-"

"come on, please? i just want you to- please?" i pleaded

"you want me to what, darling?" nagito sighed

"i just wanted you to hold me." i laughed softly. nagito laughed softly too and nodded.

"that's it? well then i'll happily oblige you." he wrapped his arms around me and pet my hair softly. i smiled and wrapped my arms around him and buried my face into his neck.

"i love you, nagi." i kissed his neck softly.

"i love you too, kazzy. you are my shining hope." nagito kissed the top of my head. my heart swelled when he said that. god, i just loved him so much. i held him tighter, forcing a soft chuckle from him.

"i love you." i said, wrapping my legs around him.

"i know, kazzy. i love you too." he chuckled again and moved my head to where he could kiss me on the lips. i tangled my fingers into his hair and kissed his cheek. nagito used one hand to play with my hair and the other to rub my back softly. i firmly planted my hand into his hair, tightened my legs' grip around his waist, and wrapped my other arm as tight around him as i could.

"don't let me go, nagi." i whispered into his ear.

"i would never, my hope." he pet my hair softly. i smiled to myself and yawned. i nuzzled my face deeper into his neck and started to fall asleep.

"g'night, nagi..." i said in a yawn.

"good night, my darling love." nagito kissed the top of my head again.
