George's next class was history and for once, he wasn't miserable about it.

He walked into the class with a big grin on his face and sat down at his usual spot.

The lesson had just started when it was rudely interrupted by Fundy bursting into the classroom.

"Sorry I'm late, sir. Lost track of time.." He
said before taking his seat next to George.

Once the lesson started again, George heard a small whisper from Fundy, "Hey, George!"

George gave a small wave and continued writing in his text book.

"Heard about the breakup..." George commented, his eyes not lifting from his book.

"Oh..? Um- well we might get back together soon.." Fundy smiled.

George wanted to laugh in his face.

"Yeah?"

"Mhm!"

"Why do you say that?" George questioned.

"I have a feeling he still likes me.." Fundy smirked.

"Right." George rolled his eyes.

For once, Fundys words weren't getting to George.

After history class ended, George only had math so when he was done, he packed his stuff from his locker and made his way to the school parking lot.

He spotted Clays car and ran up to it.

Clay was often there before George, so when he saw the brunette he unlocked the doors and watched as George slid into the passenger seat.

"Hey.." George said.

Clay leaned over and placed a kiss on his cheek.

"Wanna go out today?" Clay asked.

This is the moment George has been waiting for; for Clay to finally ask him out on a date.

"Going out.. as in..?"

"A date" Clay laughed.

ABOUT TIME!

"Yeah, sure." He said calmly although his mind was freaking out.

Clay could see right through George and he laughed at his reaction.

They're little moment came to a end when there was a knock on Clays window.

There stood... Fundy?

Once Clay rolled down his window Fundy spoke, "Hey Clay! You left your pen with me today!"

Clay didn't have any subjects with Fundy today though?

"You had a class with Fundy today?" George asked out of curiosity.

Fundy heard and answered for Clay, "Oh no, we didn't!"

Fundy was smirking, George knew something was up.

"Then why do you have his pen..?" George didn't even know if he wanted anyone to answer that question.

Fundy quickly put on the fakest, shocked face that George had ever seen.

"Oh! You didn't tell him, Clay?" Fundy giggled.

Clay took his pen from Fundy, "Whatver, Bye Fundy."

"No no, didn't tell me what."

Fundy smirked, "I don't think I should be the one to break it to you. Plus it's not even that bad, maybe Clay didn't tell you because he knew you'd overreact like you're doing right now.."

George let out a small gasp that only Clay could hear.

"Clay!" Fundy giggled, "You should've told him we were skipping today, now you're gonna make little Georgie cry!" Fundy pouted and laughed.

What Fundy said didn't really affect George, except the part about skipping.

Clay didn't mention he would be skipping with Fundy.

In fact- Clay had told him that he was skipping with the football team.

Did he really lie about it?

Why wouldn't he tell George?

"I think we're going to go now Fundy." Clay said sternly, obviously mad at him.

George was fuming.

"Bye Clay!" Fundy said in a flirtatious manner and walked off.

Clay sighed and looked over at George.

"George I-"

"Drive."

"No, not until you listen to me!"

"No. If you're not going to take me home right now the you're listening to me. " George started.

"I don't know why you were with Fundy when you said you were going to be with people from the football team and last time I checked, Fundy wasn't apart of the team! So why did he come along? Was anyone from the football team even there?"

Clay had no excuse, he didn't even know himself why he was hanging out with Fundy.

"Im sorry, George. I guess I just wanted to hang out with him. Nothing happened between us I swear! I told him there that I just wanted to be friends with him and nothing more."

"Clay."

"I'm serious, George! I wouldn't lie to you."

"Well last time I checked, you felt the need to lie about who you were hanging out with."

"I lied because I knew you'd act like this!"

Silence filled the car. None of them knew what to say anymore.

George didn't think he was overreacting- was he?

"Fundy was right, you do overreact a lot." Clay muttered, although it was clear enough for George to hear.

"I don't care if Fundy was right or not! Honestly I don't even give a fuck about him right now! I only care about how you lied told me you were hanging out with some friends but instead you hung out with you're ex!"

"George, I already said sorry!"

George sighed. He really didn't want to have problems so early into the relationship, so he let it slide.

"Fine, I'm trusting you, Clay.."
