Specialist HQ

"Who are we looking at Mason?" Ruin asked as everyone stood, looking at the hologram of someone's personal profile. The person had no picture, no date of birth, no place of birth, just a description.

"This is a man that my grandfather had briefly worked with during the first Cold War. When he was active, he simply didn't exist on paper. Even I don't know exactly what his background is, or what he stands for. The very few people who did are all dead now. But what I do know is that from old reports written by the caretakers of his time, he had experiences that seemed all to familiar with our current situation. He's been frozen for almost 100 years, reports rumor about a special sedative made just for him. Supposedly it was still in development when they gave it to him, so theres no telling how it affected his body." Savannah spoke up to the specialists gathered in the brefing room.

"And you think he can help us because why...?" Battery crossed her arms.

"Because he was one of the most powerful and deadliest men of his time. Not to mention the liquids that run through his blood may theoretically give us a fighting chance against these walking corpses."

"So you want us to go find this guy and bring him back, when we don't even know his motives, his abilities, his name, who he was, or if he's even still alive?" Outrider nearly scoffed.

"Yes. Who he was won't matter too much. I beleive I know enough. But yes, we need him."

"Sounds like a pretty big gamble to me. Wouldn't you say mate?" Prophet nudged Reaper who gave a robotic nod.

"Hejek, you've been quiet. What do you think?" Battery looked across the room at Firebreak, everyone else's eyes followed.

"Spectre and Seraph haven't made much noise either." Firebreak pointed out.

"They never do." Savannah added.

"I think it's.... not a wise decision. We may open this tube up and find a dusty skeleton." Firebreak looked at the holographic profile in the center of the room.

"Hejek, perhaps they may like setting things abalze like you do. You always complain you have nobody to share your love of flames with." Savannah convinced.

He was silent for a minute. "I think its worth a shot." He changed his answer, perking up.

"We have no other choice." Spectre spoke with his synthesized voice. He walked out of the room and down the hall.

"Where are you going?" Ruin asked as he ealked past him. He didn't respond.

"To prep his gear." Seraph answered for him as she followed out of the room.

"Why the hell not." Nomad followed the two.

"So it's settled then." Savannah spoke up. "I'll get the ship ready. Oh and team, I don't want him removed from his chamber. And bring back any viles and important evidence you can." She held their attention just before everyone dispersed.

Norway

"In here." Ruin led the others. They had parked the ship right outside a massive cave imbedded within the side of a mountain. "Keep your eyes open, theres no telling what we're looking for or if theres any danger around the corner." He said before everyone distanced themselves some to search.

The cave had massive sharp rocks inside. Some hung from the ceiling and dripped with moisture. "Hey what about this?" Nomad pressed the obvious red button furthest into the cave against a wall. The door slid open to reveal a small, aged looking elevator.

"Nice job, Nomad. Everyone make sure your safteys-" Before Outrider could finish her sentence there was a loud bang that came from Firebreak's Razorback weapon.
