chapter ten

No one will get in my way as Yoimiya, Thoma, and Ayato were mere sacrifices.

3rd Person POV

Ei had let out a sigh after Ayaka left. "Oh well," Ei had mumbled. Ei walked about to her room, entering on sleeping you. This made Ei smile. Knock knock "Well great," Ei groaned, bitterly. Retreating back to where she stood when conversating with Ayaka.

"Hello dearest Archon. I am Sangonomiya Kokomi. Leader of Watatsumi Island. I know we may be on completely different sides, but I have come to make offers with the Kamisato Clan, no one was there. Having been wanting to make offers, I was wondering if you had any sort of information? This is a very important offer I have and I really need to see someone from that clan," the girl spoke.

"Good evening, Kokomi. Normally I would have some sort of info, but both Kamisato Ayato and their housekeeper, Thoma, have been reported missing recently. Kamisato Ayaka was here recently, but she has long gone," Ei told Kokomi. "Well then. I see. Thank you for your time. I am very sorry to bother you, have a wonderful night-" Kokomi was interrupted as Y/N had walked into the room.

"Ei...where is your bathroom?" You had mumbled, rubbing your eyes. Ei turned around, giving you directions to the bathroom. What you both failed to notice was the slight blush appearing on Kokomi's face. "Oh, what a cutie. Perhaps....no. I can't get to involved yet," Kokomi thought. "I'll see myself out, goodbye your Eternal Excellency," Kokomi spoke, walking away. "That was...weird..and suspicious?" Ei questioned. "Oh well," Ei shrugged her shoulders.

Two days later

"Ei!!!! We're out of bread!" You screamed from the kitchen. "What? We are?" Ei asked, surprised. "Yes," you groaned. "And, I wanted toast-" "It's literally 4 in the afternoon, darling," Ei interrupted. "So?" You backed yourself. "I'll go out to the shop and-" "No, I will. You're busy and have some paperwork to do. I don't want you to get behind on all that," You interrupted, smiling. Ei sighed. "But-" "No buts, it won't take that long. And if I get in any danger whatsoever, I'll use this thingy Miko gave me whilst we were in your room when you...killed that blue haired fella," You explained, pulling out a little paper charm. Ei sighed, "Alright then, please stay safe," You nodded, "Of course,"

You began walking down the main pathway of Inazuma City, looking for a shop that sold bread. You couldn't find anything. "Need any help, ma'am?" A white haired guy with a reddish orange streak of hair asked you. "Um, yes, please," you responded. "I need help finding bread," you explained, blushing out of embarrassment. "You should be able to find some over there," the guy explained. "If fate ever lets us meet again, my name is Kaedehara Kazuha," the man said. "Nice to meet you then, Kazuha. I'm Y/N, thanks for the help," you smiled. Kazuha nodded, and began walking off. "What a nice guy," you thought.

And just like Kazuha said, there was bread in a shop a few meters down. You had picked up two loafs- hoping that would be enough. You had noticed a lot of citizens walking around, and even some animals jumping around, playing with each other. This caused you to smile. It was a wonderful sight in front of you.

You began walking back to Tenshukaku, where Ei- and now you- had resided. You, of course, knocked before heading in. "Welcome back, darling," Ei smiled at you. "Thanks," you smiled back. You placed the bread on a counter. "You know," Ei spoke, walking into the kitchen with you. "We should go take a trip around Inazuma- just for you to get familiar with the land," Ei suggested. "That sounds nice, but I just got back," you groaned. Ei giggled. "I guess I'll allow you to take a little break then, my love," Ei kisses you on the cheek before walking off into her office.

You blushed, smiling and giggling all the way back into yours and Ei's room. This was who you really wanted to be with, you loved this woman. Though, Yoimiya popped back into mind. Flashbacks came into play. You sat on Ei's bed, dwelling in the flashbacks of the deceased Yoimiya.

"My name's Yoimiya! I haven't seen you before...Wanna be friends?"

"Alright then, I'll see you soon, Y/N~" she said, but before she left, she placed a little kiss on your check, before walking away and waving her hand.

You smiled at the thought of Yoimiya. Perhaps you may have gained a slight crush on the girl. Yoimiya was such a nice girl, and that's what you liked about her. She was just likable. Maybe, if these feelings continue, you will confess to her. To you, the thought of dating someone as nice as her would be wonderful!

You almost burst into tears. "Y-Yoimiya..?" You stammered. This hurt you. She was your only friend so far. The pain your heart was unbearable, you didn't know what to do.

"Yoimiya is gone because of me. You're brave for thinking I won't do the same to you,"

Of course, you were on Ei's side here, but you were upset she was the one who killed Yoimiya.

"You...killed Yoimiya" you mumbled, Ei heard you and looked at you.

"You're really just going to run away? You coward. Go back to Ei and get revenge for those she sacrificed just for you. Or you could just run away like a dumbass bitch, whatever you prefer,"

"W-what..?" You panicked. "Yoi..miya..?" You let out a slight sob, beginning to run towards her. But she disappeared before you could blink. Perhaps you were hallucinating.

Unfortunately, you were trying not to cry. You felt guilty for loving Ei. What would Yoimiya think about all of this? Would she be mad at you? Would she forgive Ei and let you have your future with her? Would she simply not care? Would she kill herself if she was still alive? All the questions pulled up in your head, causing you to break down.

You eventually fell asleep due to stress. But the one thing you didn't want to see in your dreams appeared.

Hallucinations of Yoimiya, Thoma, and Ayato, all blooded up with stab wounds, had spoke to you.

"You're almost as big of a monster as Ei is,"
