((Y/n) POV)
"Have a great day!" She said with a smile, handing a young man his coffee. She sighed in relief as the door shut behind them, signaling that the customers were satisfied at the moment.

After using her senses to 'see' all say she was slightly tired. Granted, after a year of practice and coaching from Will, her incredible abilities were even further improved. And somehow, no one had ever figured out she was blind despite how light blue her eyes had become after the incident.

The bell rang again and she looked up, putting on another smile. Her senses quickly placed him. Blonde, tall, skinny. Confident and loud.

"I'd like a mocha and a hot chocolate." He said, sauntering up. Not even a hello, wow.

"Just a moment, please." She quickly stepped into the back. "A mocha and hot chocolate, Foolish!" She called, smiling as she caught sensed of tall, tan skinned teen.

"Be right out!" He called back. She went back to the counter.

"Anything else?" She asked with a smile. Her senses picked up his uncomfortableness. "That'll be $5.29." He didn't respond as he handed her the carefully counted money. Two cups were slid along the counter with a wink from Foolish. She carefully handed them to the boy as he smiled finally. "Have a great day!" She gave a little wave as he left. She couldn't wait until she could go home.

(Flashback to the morning after the incident.)
"So you live here alone?" She asked Will after she had pulled on one of his extra sweaters. He smiled as he sat down with a cup of coffee.

"I don't really live here. I'm just spending a couple weeks away from my family." He said with a little sigh she caught. Her mind was still getting used to her new senses.

"Aren't you twenty or something?" She asked with a little laugh that he shared.

"Well, yes. But my family is a bit overprotective." He responded taking another swig of his drink.

"Is it because of your abilities?" Her voice was quiet.

"Yup." He didn't hesitate. "And I'm going to help you with yours so you can live a good life instead of living in the dark." She could sense him smiling.

"Alright." She said, standing up. "Let's begin, big bro."
(End Flashback)

She liked the feeling of cool air on her cheeks as the spring night flowed around her. People moving here or there. Cars driving quickly along the road. A year ago, the colors, sounds, and feelings would have overwhelmed her, but she was used to it by now.

The apartment's porch light was on as she stepped up and opened for door. An empty lobby greeted the girl as she sighed with relief. Her shoulders finally fell a little as she tracked up the stairs to her flat. She quickly unlocked the door after fumbling a bit with the keys. It locked shut behind her as she stepped in.

Her phone started ringing as she pulled leftover pizza from the fridge. Only one person had her phone number so she quickly picked it up.

"Hey, sis. How's it going over there?" His voice made her smile as she sat in the living room.

"It's been about the same since two days ago." She giggled. He called often since he was away.

"That's great! Anyways, I got great news." His excitement leaked through his voice.

"Really?" The pizza tasted alright cold. She half wished she had put it into the microwave.

"Yup! My family is letting me take a leave again for a few weeks." She could tell he was grinning.

"That's great!" She said, hopping off her seat in excitement. "I haven't seen you in two months!"

"I know! I can't wait to see all the great work you do." He paused. "I have to go now, but I'll see you tomorrow. For real this time."

Her smile couldn't get much wider as he hung up. This day had turned out to be great after all.

A text popped up quickly on her phone as she finished her meager dinner.  The TTS said her brother has sent one message.

Don't patrol tonight.

She blinked at it for a second, trying to understand. Not patrol? But that was her favorite thing to do! And because of him, no less.

(Flashback to a couple weeks after the incident.)
"So this is the grappling hook. And these are the smoke bombs." He said, handing the respective pieces of gear to her for inspection. "With all your new gadgets and your suit, I'd say you're ready." He said, dusting off his sweater.

"I don't know, Will. My senses are still developing. I'm not sure I'm ready to do any sort of fighting." She said quietly. He smiled reassuringly at her though.

"You took self-defense classes before the incident, right?" She nodded. "And you are super agile. I'd say you're good to go." She finally smiled back.

"Alright, I'll start tomorrow night." He played with her (h/c) hair as she said this.

"That's my sis." But she could sense his somewhat guilt about something when he bit his lip.

"Is everything okay?" She asked, eyeing him carefully. She remembered him saying it was a tactic to make people think she could see. He let out a sigh.

"I'm just disappointed. Not in you!" He quickly reassured. "In the supposed heroes of the city. They claim to protect the people, but in the end, they just protect the upper city. Hardly any people below district 5 have even seen a hero, let alone been saved by one." He dragged a hand through his hair. "But people like you can help." He smiled again. "I'm so proud of you for doing things others can't."
(End of Flashback)

She sighed as she set the device down, unsure if she should listen or not. People needed her and he gave no reason not to so....

Smirking in rebellion, she went into her room and grabbed her suit from its hiding place. But she'd keep her earpiece on, just in case he needed to contact her.

With that she hopped out the window and decided to sit on the roof for a bit. She could feel wisps of hair brush against her forehead as the starlight shone down around the world.

Her senses were sent into a flurry as an explosion echoed nearby. She stood up quickly, dusting off her black pants with a little smile as the adrenaline began to set it.

In a step, she dropped off the edge of the tall building. In another second, her grappling hook, shot from her wrist cuff, caught the edge of another structure and she sped through the night, ready to help her city.

(Btw this is your vigilante suit. Once again, I don't own any rights to it.)
