#Chapter 16 My best friend!

''But I know who he is,'' I stated. He raised an eyebrow at me.

I took a deep breath. ''AM. Stands for Andre Marcella. Who is... my... brother.''

Some looked shocked and some looked in utter disbelief. ''Can you please elaborate.'' He asked. I sighed.

''He started his work as a drug dealer and did as his boss said. After he took over his boss's work because the Boss was killed. He liked his job and made deals with big people and soon he became famous in the unknown world. He is rich and has a warehouse around Los Angeles. He lives in a big mansion which is in the east of Los Angeles. However he.. has so many enemies so he kept on changing his location. We cannot trace him because he removes all his witnesses and moves. Little did he know that the message could be traced or it was a clear message to follow him and meet him.'' I shrugged.

''How can we trust you? He is your brother.'' This time Samual said.

''I-'' I counted the numbers in my hand. They were all patiently waiting for an answer. I finished my counting.

''I never saw him in 5-6 years, because he is a backstabbing bastard,'' I said firmly.

''Ok. Is there anything else?'' Cayden asked.

''No,'' I replied.

''The meeting will end here. In the next meeting, we will discuss how to catch that asshole who gave a threat to my mafia.'' He paused and then he continued. ''The next meeting will be held in the morning. Be ready and be here sharp at 9.

We all nodded and dismissed. I went to my room. Kept the laptop safely on the table. It was already 8 30 the dinner was served I think so. I went down to the dining room. All were seated. I sat in one empty chair which was near Cayden.

Never had a family dinner in 3 years. We were calmly eating our lasagna which Melissa had prepared.

The door burst open a girl came. She had brunette hair and ocean-blue eyes seeing her eyes reminded me of someone else. That someone else is Kayzel.

Finally, I met someone who can Keep me from dying due to boredom.

My ex-best friend!

She was wearing a pink sweatshirt and blue denim Jeans. There was a sunglass above her head. Her hand was full of shopping bags.

''Why are you late,'' Cayden asked.

''Sorry, brother that shopkeeper was troubling me. So I had to put the bullet between his eyes and clean the body.'' She explained.

Surely she has changed a lot.

She saw Melissa. ''I will be right back to eat your delicious lasagna.'' She said and went to her room.

She came wearing an orange shirt and a white skirt. Her hair was tied into a ponytail. She took a seat near me. She scanned all of us and her eyes laid on me. I was silently eating. I need to know if she would guess Rory with green and black hair.

''Who is this bitch??'' She asked. The boys controlled their laughter they knew that 3 years back our friendship was very strong.

I just shrugged. She then scanned my face. ''Oh my gosh, Rory?'' She asked. Confusion and amusement laced her voice as well as her face. I gave her my signature smirk. Confirming that she is indeed right.

She checked me up to down. ''Girl.. you have changed a lot. But who said I didn't like your this side.'' I gave a small smile. ''We have to catch up on each other and eat your dinner fast! And you have to make it up to me because u ghosted me for three years. '' She whispered in a serious tone.

I nodded. After finishing the dinner Kayzel dragged me to her room. ''So tell me how did you end up here?'' She asked.

We sat on her bed and made ourselves comfortable.

''As you practically know that I'm a she-devil so I just came to kill the Italian don because someone hired to do it. When I saw the boss. I remembered he is Cayden I couldn't kill him I don't know why but he saw me holding a gun at him. So you know they caught me and took me inside SKIP to the part where we made a deal that I will help him in missions then I will be set free.'' I explained.

''So you're saying you are technically leaving soon.'' She answered. I pursed my lip into a thin line. I can't promise her that I would stay.  I couldn't promise because I don't know what surprise does my future have for me.

''Hey, it's ok we will enjoy the time we get together.'' She told and I gave her a soft smile.

The next whole hour we chatted about it. Our favorites and what did you do the last 3 years.

Finally, our conversation ended we said goodbye I went to my room. I jumped to the cushion-like pillow.

**Dream**

I was in my room doing my homework. I was thirsty so I went to the kitchen to drink water.

I came back from the kitchen and saw Andre talking about something on his phone with someone. I had a bad habit of eavesdropping. I eavesdropped on their conversation.

''The deal will be made near the old cemetery there goes a street called Bertaman there you have to meet me in the warehouse.'' My brother told me.

The next day I was at the warehouse I saw my brother sitting on a chair. And Elijah came and took a seat opposite his. His guards stood behind him.

I was hiding behind the boxes so they couldn't see me. But I can see them.

''The deal is I will make you my right-hand man. In return, you have to give your sister to me. I froze as I heard what it is. '' Elijah said.

''My sister?? I can't just give up on her. She is the one and the only family I have. '' Andre exclaimed.

''The deal is a deal you can take or leave it. Don't worry she will remain in your family. If you just become my brother-in-law.'' He stated.

''What the fuck! Do you want to fucking marry her?''

''Yes, and you are going to say this to her and make her be my fiance. However, she is just 16 I have to just wait for two more years that doesn't mean she should not be with me. I just want to spend time with her.'' He explained

''Do you want the deal or not,'' Elijah said sternly. There was a long silence then Andre told. ''I accept this deal.''

My heart broke, my brother is handing me to someone else. Tears beamed in my eyes.

**Dream end.**

I suddenly gasped for air. I touched my cheeks to feel the liquid flow from my eyes.

These sufferings never miss a day...
