"I'll open the door" He shouted and so I get up from my bed and check who is it.
"Who is i---" I almost fell to the floor as I didn't expect a visitor. I got back in my sense and pull off a poker face.
"Why?" I simply asked.
"You should at least say Hi to me," she said
"HI. Why?" I repeat
"I just want to visit my daughter is that too much for you?" she said. I just rolled my eyes. As if you want to be a mother to me
"And who is this guy?" She asked while entering my house
"None of your business" I coldly said
"I need to know" she said "since he looks handsome" she whisper and smile to Eryx
"I said none of your business" I raised my voice a little "What do you want from me? I don't have money" I added.
"I am not here for money. I just want to visit you as I am your biological mother"
"Oh now you want to be a mother to me?" I chuckled. I can't believe her. She wants what? A MOTHER
"Why is there many boxes? are you moving?" she said
"No. Eryx moving with me" I said
"YOU ARE MOVING WITH A STRANGER?" She shouted at me
"HE IS NOT A STRANGER"
"NOT A STRANGER? THEN WHAT A LOVER? FOR PETE SAKE YOU'RE A HIGH SCHOOLER!!" She shouted loudly
"I SAID IT IS NOT YOUR FUCKING BUSINESS" then she suddenly slapped me so hard that made me loose my balance. Luckily, Eryx catch me
"How dare you shout on your own mother?!"
"WOW. JUST WOW! YOU? MY MOTHER?! WHEN? I CAN'T EVEN REMEMBER WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU TREAT ME YOUR OWN DAUGTHER!"
"DON'T EVER TALK TO ME LIKE THAT"
" WHY? BECAUSE I'M JUST YOUR DAUGHTER AND NOTHING MORE THAN THAT?"
"IS THIS GUY TAUGHT YOU THIS THING!"
"HE IS OUT. I NEVER BRING UP THAT MAN HERE IN THIS CONVERSATION"
"DON'T YOU DARE"
"OH WHY? BECAUSE YOU LOVE HIM AND LEFT ME AND DAD FOR HIM BECAUSE HE IS WAY RICHER AND YOUNGER THAN DAD?"
"HE IS NOT JUST THAT MAN"
"OH YES HE IS YOUR FUCKING HUSBAND. THE FATHER OF YOUR FAVORITE TWINS" she look at me straight in my eyes while I'm still on fire roasting her for being a bullshit to us
"I love you Loe" she said. I know she is lying
"Love?! when did you learn to love? you never know that word is and never will. Let's be frank here, you only need THAT MAN for money right? You run after me and dad because daddy became successful in his business and one of the richest in the town isn't? You keep pestering me and dad and HIS NEW FAMILY because you need money and wealth from us. Stop acting like you want me or even dad back because we all know the truth..." I stop for a little and glare at her
"You only love us for money and that's it. Now get out in my fucking house and never bother me again" I said and point the door to tell her to leave. Before she step out the house she look back to me again "Remember this, YOU and I were just the same" she said and left.
A moment of silence. No one dared to talk, not even me or Eryx. "You and I were just the same" that lingers my mind as of now. I am not her, not even close of who she is. I am not like her and will never be.
"Hey" Eryx break the silence between us. I just look at his direction and waiting for him to speak again
"About earlier, sorry for not defending you tho" He said
"That's none of your business tho. It was the issue between me and her" I said. a moment of silence again and suddenly the door once again open but this time its dad. Shit How am I going to tell him I'm living with a man.
"I hear--" He stopped in the middle and looked shocked with all the boxes and a guy he never seen before standing infront of him
"Hi Sir. I'm Eryx, Loe's friend" Eryx offer his hands to shake as my father reached it and smile for a bit. He shake his head a little and go straight in my seat.
"Are you good? I saw your mom. Does she bother you again honey?" He said full of worries. I smiled at him giving him assurance I am fine
"You don't have to worry about me Dad" I said.
"Ahmm by the way dad, I am sorry for short noticed but my friend here is moving in for quite some time until he get a new place. Are you okay with it?" I asked him.
"Is he just your friend?" My dad knows I am too bold and dates guy after guy.
"Yeah just a friend. He just need a safe place as his ex keep pestering him" I told him
"If that's the case make sure, he uses the other room okay princess?" He told me and so I nodded
"Your stepmom will visit you next week, if that's okay with you?"
"Sure. I am more than happy if she visit me rather than that old wrinkled woman. geez" I said and shake my shoulder
"hey that's still your mom Loe" He tried to scold me
"Not right after she left us for money tho"
"Anyways, Eryx right?" my father turn his head to Eryx
"If something happened like that again please contact me right away and also please protect my princess. She's the only one I have" He said
"Yes I will Sir" Eryx responsed and look at me. As if he will protect me or crawled at the top of me.
"Just call me Rey please. And by that I need to go now. Princess, take your vitamins okay, behave at school and also don't forget to eat a lot" He instruct to me like he will not go here for the next 2 weeks
"And for you young man, please make sure she eats a lot. If you can cook please cook for her so she won't eat those junk" He also instruct to Jae
"Daaaaa!" I shouted
"You don't have to worry about Loe, Rey. I'll make sure she will eat a lot" Then he look at me and wink. He meant real food bitch.
"I'm heading now Loe. Don't forget what I just said okay."
"yes yes I am not" I pushed him to the door as he will keep talking and talking. He waved at me and so I did the same.
