Its been about 3 weeks since I've came to New York and also 3 weeks that I have been working at " bells cafe" it been all good, and I'm glad it has been good.
Today, I'm going to work alone because Adeline left last night to go visit her family back in Greece, she will be staying there for about a month or maybe even more I'm not really sure.
Now I'm taking a shower, after I got done cleaning my body and hair, I get out and wrap a towel around my body, and put another towel around my hair, I get out the bathroom and make my way to my room.
I say my room, because me and Adeline both pay for the rent and, we both buy food for each other all the time, so it's like we are roommates.
I go to my closet and look around, for something to wear, something summery, since it's hot outside, so I might go for something cute and light.

I put on a mini summer dress that's about mid thigh, as I'm done I dry my hair and put it up in a ponytail, and keep a bit of the front pieces out, I put mascara, and a bit of lip gloss on and take my purse as I leave and lock the door while getting my phone out of my purse to check the time, and it's 8am.
I go down and see that the sun is about to rise in any minute now, I walk towards the cafe that's named " bells cafe" in big bold letters, I garb the cafes keys from my purse and, open the door, as I am the person that opens the cafe and closes it.
I walk in and go straight to making croissants, doughnuts, and chocolate chip cookies, and prepare the coffee, and hot chocolate.
After I'm done I go to the door where there is a sign that says closed and flip it the other way so it says open.
After I do so, customers start walking in, I get their order and make their coffees and get out what pastries they had ordered and give it to them.
After about hours that feel like eternity, the final costumer walks in, it's an elderly lady, with short white and grey hair, she looks at me and smiles sweetly.
" hello, welcome to bells cafe what can I get started for you today?" I say to the elderly lady politely, with a small smile.
" hello dear, I would like a black coffee, and a croissant if you don't mind." She says back as she is looking at me, with a bright smile.
" of course miss, I will get everything out for you in a bit." I say back to her sweetly as I love elderly people, they make me feel safe, and happy when I'm around them.
I go and get her black coffee, and her warm croissant ready for her, as I put them on the counter, I look at her and speck softy.
" miss that would be $8.39" I say to her as I had over her food and she nods and hands me a $100 dollar bill.
" um, miss do you have any smaller bills, because we only can use a certain amount I'm so sorry." I say back to very apologetically but stop when I think of an idea.
" and if you don't it's okay! I can pay for you, so don't worry about it." I say back to her with a bright smile on my lips.
" no dear that's for you, keep it and dear you are gorgeous, and such a sweet soul." She says as she leaves and I'm just standing behind the counter a little stunned at what just happened.
I take the money and put it in my purse so tomorrow if she comes I can give it to her, I can't take this from her or anyone for that matter.
I look at the time, and it's time for me to close up, I clean everything, and get all my stuff, and walk over to the door and turn the sign around to closed.
I walk out but as I do so I see my boss and, a guy that is way taller then him, standing with something in his hand, as I can hear my boss saying something among the lines of " please don't do this"
As I go to get near them, and try to see if my boss is okay, but the next second he's on the floor laying lifeless with a bullet between his eyes, and the thing that was in that guys hand was a gun.
The guy and I make eye contact, as I stand there in shock as to what just happened but one thing goes though my mind and it's to fucking RUN!
