Athena's parents passed a couple months ago due to an car accident, she decided to move away from her home town because all she can remember are the memories she had with them.
She decides to go to New York and live with her best friend Adelina Dior...

I make my way towards the airport, as I hold on to my luggage, I go into get my airplane ticket, and drop my one big luggage that I have with me, I get in line and wait for my turn, after about a 10 minute wait, it's my turn I go up to the lady that has a soft smile playing on her lips as she specks.
" hello daring, how may I help you?" She says sweetly.
" hello miss, I'm here to get my plane ticket to New York and also to drop off my luggage." I say back to her as I smile back to be more polite.
" of course darling , I'm going to need your passport, and also I need to weigh your bag, if thats okay with you?" She says back with a smile.
"Of course let me just take out my passport." I say back to her as I take my bag and pull it up and put it on the scale, as I'm done doing that I take my backpack that I have on me, and take out my passport, and hand it to her.
" thank you." She says as she takes it from my hands and I nod my head and smile back at her as she starts to type something in the computer that's in front of her.
After about 15 minutes or so I honestly am fucking horrible at math, she gives me back my passport.
" here you go daring, and you will get your bag, when you arrive at New York, hope you have a nice flight, and enjoy your time." She says very sweetly with her softy warm smile on display, as she hands me my passport and my plane ticket.
" thank you so much miss." I say back to her with a smile on my lips, as I take my passport and ticket and go to the airport security to get to my gate.
I go though the security and go straight, to my gate right after, I see the gate is open, but I don't go though I get my phone out and text Adeline my best friend that I'm going in the plane, and I will text her back when I get there.
Me: Yoo bitch I'm about to bored the plane see you in a bit;)
A.D: CANT WAIT UNTIL YOU GET HERE!!
I go in the plane and take a seat down in my chair that I got in business class because they didn't have a first class.
And I'm using the money I inherited from my parents, they were well off, not in the spot light, they just owned a club, that they worked really hard to buy, and the reason why they got it was because that's how they first met.
My dad was out with his friends to just have fun with the guys, and my mom went out with her friends, and they all happened to be at that same club, they saw each other and started talking and then years later they got married, my parents were madly in love, and then they had me I'm the only child.
Everyone loved them, everyone knew them, they were sweet people, but they left this world way to early, they passed away a couple months ago, and I couldn't stay at the house we all shared once, and the memories I just couldn't, so Adeline began to beg me to come to New York for a fresh start, and I agreed.
I look out the window, as the plane slowly starts to come to a landing, and everyone that had took off their seat belts are now clicking them back on.
We land slowly, and everyone starts to get up and take their bags, and sit back in their seats, as they wait for the caption to say we have safely landed and we can leave the plane, which he shortly after did say.
We all get out and I stop somewhere near the area where they get out your luggage, and text Adeline.
Me: I'm here I'm getting my luggage and then I will meet you at your apartment, and on god if you are here!
A.D: chill I'm not, but I really wanted toooo!! Oh and I got you a taxi so get in it!
Me: okay thank you!!
A.D: OF COURSE!
I see my bag and take it as I put my phone away, I walk down to the exit of the airport and see a guy with my name written on a paper, and next to him is a taxi car.
I get in and after a good look at the city, we arrive at the apartment building Adeline lives in, we used to leave here together, but that was so long ago, so I kinda forgot about most of the things here in the city.
I walk in and go straight to apartment number #7 I knock on the door and all I see is a really hyped Adeline.
" OMG ITS BEEN FOREVER!!!" She says as she hugs the life out of me.
" Adeline it's been a month you was over at my house!" I say back to her as I laugh.
" EXACTLY ITS BEEN SO LONG!" She yells out again.
I go on in and lay down on the couch, and take a deep breath, and I look though the window, and think to myself hopefully this is a new fresh start without anyone but Adeline.
" I talked to my boss about you and he said you can work at the cafe!!" She said really happily as her tone was very high pitched.
" Omg for real?" I say a bit shocked, because that was really quick.
" yes, and we needed more employees anyways, oh and you will start tomorrow, finally we can work together!" She says as she gets us both wine.
" thank you a lot Adeline, I really appreciate it!" I say as I hug her.
" of course Athena, that's what sisters are for" she says as we start talking and drinking our wine.
Tomorrow is work day.
