Day 5 pt1: No mom, just two skeletons

Y/N POV:
6:00 A.M

I was having a nice dream about the things I loved the most before it was interrupted by someone shaking me awake. "Princess? Princess wake up. Your phones been ringing for the literal past 25 minutes." Sans said trying to wake me up. "Who the fuck is it?" I asked groggily. "You're gonna be surprised but, it's your mom." He replied. "The fuck?" I said finally pulling the blanket off my head and pushing myself up. He handed me my phone which was ringing by the way and I looked at it to see who it was. It was my mom. Why the fuck is she calling me now? Didn't she notice me gone the other days?

M = Mom

Y - "Hello?"
M - "Y/N THANK GOD! WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU?!"
Y - "Did you not notice me go missing the last four days?"
M - "Yes I did but I thought you were taking a break from work!"
Y - "Without even telling you? Jeez how the fuck are you my mom?"
M - "Excuse me?"
Y - "You heard me, why the fuck did you think I ran away? Because you guys literally only value me only because of my powers. You don't love me. Now if you please, leave me alone, I've already found someone who actually likes me for who I am."
M - "HOW DARE YOU!!! DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW MANY OF OUR RIVALS I'VE KILLED BECAUSE OF YOU?! I HAVEN'T SLEPT FOR DAYS, TODAY BEING THE FIFTH BECAUSE OF YOU!!! I THOUGHT YOU DIED!!!!"
Y - "Yeah because you need me to promote our advanced weapons and you need me there to be your personal body guard so no one will kill you. Don't fucking lie to me mom, I know what you're trying to do now leave me alone and don't fucking call me back."
M - "Y/N DON'T YOU DARE-"

I hung up. I'm tired of her shit. I just want to be loved. I handed Sans my phone again and went back to sleep. Before I could even close my eyes, I heard him speak. "How long have you had this issue Y/N?" He asked, using my name for the first time ever. "Ever since I got kidnapped... Can we talk about this later? I wanna sleep right now." I asked. I could feel him looking at me for a second before he teleported away... I don't need anyone... I'll be fine on my own. Suddenly I heard Sans teleport back into the room. I turned around to face him.

"The fuck?" I asked. He didn't say anything, lied down next to me, put an arm around me and pulled me closer to him. "You need therapy." Was all he said. "Fuck you too." I replied before falling asleep. The dream I had was nice... It was about me just walking in Candyland? Wow my childhood dream came true. "Mama mama look what I can do!" I heard a some kid say. Suddenly the scenery changed to clouds. I was on a pastel blue cloud, basically colors you'd see in a sunset with some twists of colors. "Look I can papa, look what I can!" I heard the kid say again before I heard some blast.

After that I woke up. "Sup princess, how was your beauty sleep?" Sans asked looking at me. "Best one I've had for the time I've been here." I replied. Stretching my body earning a crack from my spine.

Sans POV:
9:13 A.M

She stretched out like any normal person would do after they woke up but than I heard a crack come from her spine. I immediately looked over to her. Cracks in the spine is normal for me because I'm a monster but she's a human with a very fragile skeleton so I was kind of panicking. "What?" She asked as if it never happened. "That doesn't hurt?" I asked. "What doesn't hurt?" She asked tilting her head slightly. "The crack in your spine?" I replied. When she realized she laughed slightly. "No it doesn't you numbskull! I thought you guys were used to that!" She said smiling. I couldn't help but laugh. "Well we are but you're a human I thought it'd be bad for you guys." I replied.

"Nah we do that casually out of nowhere when we've been in one position for too long and it feels refreshing." She said. "You got that right." I replied. "Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go take a shower." She said. "Mind if I join?" I asked giving her that infamous smirk. "I Wouldn't mind some company.~" She said returning that same smirk.

I wasn't expecting that response. My face got slightly warm as a very uncalled for image came to my head while she chuckled. "Yeah no don't even think about it." She said. I snapped out of it and chuckled. "A guy can dream babe." "Yeah and you can get out now." She said. "Alright alright, call me if you need me though.~" "Bye Sans."

And I'm out of my room. Why did I even give her my room? "Sans?" I heard a familiar voice called out. "Hey Paps..." I greeted, my smile definitely not the same when around him. "I... I wanted to.... I'm sorry... For everything. Nothing can excuse my actions from the past and I don't think nothing will. I understand if you hate me or if you won't be able to forgive me but, I just want you to know... I'm truly sorry..." He apologized... Welp you know what they say, actions speak louder than words.

A hug.... I haven't hugged him ever since well since this Royal Guard and killing shit... "You're okay bro. I understand why you did you did, yeah you could've considered my feelings but it's all understandable. Just know I could never hate my little bro." I said comforting him. "Well that wasn't so hard was it?" We heard a voice say. "Sans..." I turned around and found Princess just standing in the bathroom doorway. "When did you get to the shower? I didn't even hear you turn it on." "Every type of power hun, including speed." She replied giving a cocky grin. "Well fuck you." I said with kind of shocked expression. "Sans." "Sorry bro." I said smiling.

"Anyways let's go eat breakfast and we'll be on our way to well the lab, or at least I'll be on my way." She said flying to the kitchen. "Human you are exactly like Sans *sigh*." Papyrus said while I teleported to the kitchen. "Well since we're going to be travelling with you, we need to prepare some food and-" "Woah Papyrus, slow down, your brother's got this, he practically knows the underground like the back of his palm." She said cutting Papyrus off. Welp the lab is a bit of a tricky way in but it's not impossibly. I just hope we don't run into that peace of scrap metal anytime soon.
