Percy POV

I snuck through the forest. I had ran away from camp because I was scared they would think I was a spy or a monster. I might look like one but I wasn't. I was leaving when I heard someone talking.

"He's been bitten by a breed of monster that lies deep in Tartarus. He will become a monster and have to join us if he wants to receive the antidote." The voice said darkly. Another voice spoke.

"Kronos you said there was no antidote." The dark voice laughed.

"Exactly. We'll tell him there is but once he realizes that there is none it will be too late. Hyperion you only need to retrieve him in a few days." 'Kronos' said. I'd had enough of the two revived titans. I'd go through Tartarus again without the doors of death before I listened to them. I crept out of the trees and they were surprised to say the least. They stared at me for a minute before talking to me.

"You there. Why do you not bow to us?" Kronos asked me. Being inside Luke must have changed him because he looked a lot like Luke. But he didn't have the scar and his eyes were gold instead of blue.

"Now why would I Kronosss? I killed you lassst time, what makesss you think I won't do it again?" I asked. He had started a war. He had hurt my friends. Rage towards him I didn't even know I had surged through me. Kronos and Hyperion looked shocked.

"I thought you said it would take more then a day for him to change." Hyperion said putting a hand on his sword.

"It should have. What's different about him? All the other demigods took a week at best." Kronos asked. They were talking too much. I'll make sure no one sees them for at least another thousand years. I lunged at Kronos first. He materialized his scythe after I had clawed his chest. "Insolent boy. You should join us. You would fit right in with our elite monsters." He told me trying to gut me. I dodged just in time to not lose my insides.

"Nah. Old Beefhead would recognize me. Our reunion wouldn't be very nicsse." I told him snatching his scythe from his grasp. Kronos looked horrified. "Now go back to Tartarusss where you belong." I growled and I did what Zeus, my dad and Hades did to him all those years ago. I sliced him to ribbons using his scythe and my claws. Before he disintegrated he laughed at me.

"You're foolish to think that I won't come back to claim your servitude. You've become a fine monster, Perseus Jackson." Hyperion stared in horror as Kronos disappeared, going back to Tartarus. I gave him a look that made Medusa look like the Mona Lisa.

"Now Perseus, we can give you the antidote." He tried offering me.

"Kronosss sssaid there was no antidote. No thank you." I still had the rush of rage Kronos had given me. It took me ten seconds to kill Hyperion. His sword didn't even scratch my scales. I roared triumphantly at the deaths of my enemies. Once I stopped I was confused. I wasn't normally as bloodthirsty as I was now. Must be the monster instincts. I walked off to find something else to do when an arrow bounced off my side. I turned to see a girl in a silver uniform. She had an arrow notched but seemed unsure if she should shoot. She had black hair and electric blue eyes. My rage and bloodlust shut down immediately. I was overtaken by an instinct to protect her. Care for her as though she was really my sister, not a sisterly figure but a real sister.

"Thalia? Are you okay?" I took a step towards her but she pulled back on her bow a bit. She had a few scratches on her arms. She had been attacked by something or someone.

"Why did Kronos call you Perseus? You're not Percy. You can't be." She had tears in her eyes and it was killing me.

"Thalia it'sss okay. I'm fine." I took another step towards her.
