Masked Man.

He woke up in the alley,
With nowhere to go,
Saw the strange colors around him tho,
Walking out in the darkness of the world,
He was blinded,
The colors of emotions that blurred,
Blurred his vision, blurred his eyes,
As he reached to cover them,
'Mask' materialized,
He tried seeing what had happened to his face in a window nearby,
He saw a figure clad in darkness, with a dark face looking up at him,
Startled and clueless about what brought him to this road,
He stared at his image that was afloat,
He tried to touch the glass,
Its surface felt warm,
It was then he realized that,
He was the one stone-cold,
No sense of body did he have,
But he felt every part still intact,
With a message ringing in his head,
As if it was, etched in black obsidian,
"Start 'the Exchange'" his voice commanded,
He reached back into the alleyway,
Without knowing how to walk,
He just floated,
As if it was the only way,
He sat there staring at the night sky,
Filled with shades of colors,
Questioning what he was doing there,
Asking himself who he was in reality,
And why was he there at that time,
Where was he before,
Who/What was he before,
But he knew nothing,
The whole thought space,
Being filled with only one thing,
"Begin,
'The Exchange' "
Ordered the voice,
But what did he have to exchange,
Not yet precise,
He got up after hours of pondering,
And thought reaching out for help would be the best thing to do,
He walked onto the midnight streets,
Lit with the dim lights of the buildings,
Thugs had made their home all around,
But no one seemed to pay attention to this levitating soul,
He reached out to a guy who was,
Surrounded by colors so dark,
As soon as the masked man's hands touched the colors,
They receded into his cloak,
Suddenly a speck of white light flew towards the masked men from the surrounding light of the world,
And as if it was only natural to do,
He shot the light at the guy,
The guy was homeless,
Covered in the pain of losing his family,
He stood stranded on the streets,
But masked men's white color had a certain magic,
The white color mixed with the blackness to form a light shade of grey,
Which surrounded the homeless guy,
The guy was unable to see the grey shade, woke up feeling happy,
Suddenly a white color clad old lady appeared,
She brought along some food and blankets for the homeless guy,
But as she was leaving, the masked man's hand reached for her,
Taking a bit of her white and mixing it with the speck of black,
The grey shade danced in a small portion around the kind lady,
The happy, cheerful women suddenly become a bit sad,
It was then that the masked man finally understood,
That he was the operator,
Of the cycle of life,
As he had the duty to exchange,
The emotions throughout the living,
Everything made sense to him,
Everything was shining brightly,
But still, he was the figure of darkness that no one would see,
From that time onwards,
The masked man moves around,
Maintaining the cycles of feelings and life properly,
He gifts all,
He takes from all,
Discrimination has no place for him at all,
Surrounding himself with the cloak of oblivion,
Walks around,
The figure,
Exchanging emotions,
For the Cycles of life,
Are maintained by,
The Masked Man.
