"where is y/n?" "she better not be fucking late again,"
i push open the restaurant door, hear the chimes go crazy, and look around to see where my friends are at.
"hey y/n! you made it!" nick says giving me a hug
"finally," alex rolls his eyes, "you look pretty,"
i feel my face get a little red.
"oh shut up," i snicker
"too bad karl isnt here," nick says sitting down
i take a seat and see alex looking at me from across the table. he quickly looks away when he notices me looking back.
"yeah," i agree
"why didnt we invite him again?" alex asks
"because we havent hung out just the 3 of us in a long time," nick replies
"plus hes streaming," i point out
"right, gotta piss. brb" nick walks past the tables
"y/n, i did mean what i said about you looking pretty," alex blushes
"thanks alex, you look nice as well,"
"wanna stream later?" he asks
"sure! cooking stream maybe? my house? i can kick karl out. or he can join," i laugh
"that sounds like fun!" alex exclaims
"what sounds fun?" nick asks sitting down
"we were gonna stream later," i say
"lol sorry nick. not invited," alex laughs
he gives alex an L shape with his fingers and sticks his tounge out.
"jokes on you, me and karl are gonna hang out," nick smiles
"sounds boring," i say
"well, you guys will be alone," nick laughs
"whats so funny about that?" alex asks
"chat is gonna call you a simp and ship you guys. not like they already dont, but it will be worse." he chuckles
"i dont really care," i say
lunch is going by pretty quickly. me and nick talk about minecraft, shopping, friends and whatever we want to talk about. but i notice alex hasnt been talking a whole lot lately. i dont know why. his face is slightly red.
