"yeah, totally! it's gonna be the easiest thing ever." he says with fake confidence. you give him a look which he ignores, and you continue your walk. your other best friend, dean, shows up shortly after.
'so," dean claps les on the back, "where are you taking me and the lovely lady on your first 'free man' adventure?" as dean was asking, he swung an arm around your shoulders.
"you never quit, do you deano?" you chuckle and lean into him for a moment. "hey i gotta run, ill see y'all later. good luck les." you say before kissing les' cheek and running off.
"wow, that was like, what? second base for you two?" dean laughs and turns to les.
"shut up, dean." he says as he watches you walk down the side street.
