Who handles the girl in the Waterfall?
Head buried in the ocean, tears spray.
Letting herself love no one. Secrets trap the pain within the vision that blurs
With each step, each breath, Blood seeps onto invisible helping hands.
No one knows how the heart suffers; troubled and building slowly. Her eyes see all but the heart feels nothing. Praying does no good when fear fools the strong
Everyone noticed but no one spoke up
Create a new girl, one who does not lose herself in crooked feelings. Looks deceive the eyes, feeding the trembling fear that lives within.
Cuts cover the pain but doesn't mask the shame. Sorrow floods the gates of thoughts, bending the will. Breaking the will.
And though the girl seems to live dead, no one see's her die
Head buried in the ocean, tears spray.
Letting herself live no more. Secrets free the guilt within the heavy heart she carries.
Who handles the girl in the Waterfall?
this is a cut-up poem i did at school for an extension writing exercise where i took words or sentences from a different poem and used them to make one of my own. not all of the words are mine, but i only used a couple from the other poem. i tried to recreate a poem of my own without using too much of the other one. hope its okay?
