As Ash and Bonnie reunited in the Kalos region and they finally met Emi and were surprised to hear Mewtow talk, they are now in the Pokémon center waiting for their Pokémons to be brought back by nurse Joy.
"I feel so bad for what happened to Growlithe." Emi said sadly
"Hey, it'll be ok, I'm sure Growlithe is going to feel good as new when he comes out through that door. Ash said comfortably
"Yeah, and besides, we've dealt with Team Rocket before, and they never have gotten lucky with stealing any of our Pokémons or anyone's." Bonnie said with a big smile
"Thanks, guys." Emi said gratefully
The sound of the Pokémon E.R. sounded, and Nurse Joy, along with an Audino, came out with a cart with everyone's pokeballs, and with Pikachu and Dedenne riding the cart.
"All of your Pokémons are back to full health."
"Thanks, Nurse Joy." Ash said kindly as he held out his arm for Pikachu. "Come here, buddy.
"(Pika!) Ok!" He said as he jumped on Ash's arm
Bonnie ran towards the cart and picked up Dedenne.
"How you feeling, Dedenne?" Bonnie asks
"(Dedenn) I'm great." He replied
Emi took all 3 of her Pokeballs and made Mewtwo, Growlithe, and Mudkip appear.
"How are you guys feeling?" Emi asks
"I'm feeling good as new." Mewtwo replied
"(Growlithe) I'm feeling great." He replied
"(Mudkip) me too." He replied
Emi knelt down in front of Growlithe, and he looked at her in curiosity.
"Growlithe, I'm sorry, I should've been more cautious with Wobbuffet's Mirror Coat. Can you forgive?" She asks apologetically
Growlithe just happily jumped into Emi's arms and gave her a simple lick on her cheek. Seeing that he forgave her, she gave him a hug and put him down on the floor.
"See, I told you it would be alright." Ash said
"Yeah." Emi replied and nodded at Ash. She turned her attention back to her Pokémon. "Everyone today we won our first Pokémon battle, but that doesn't mean that we won't battle against more people who are stronger. So we have to get even stronger in order to win. Mudkip, soon enough, you're gonna have your first battle, so I hope you're ready." She said confidently
"(Mud-Mudkip!) I am ready!" He replied confidently
"And I hope you two are ready." Emi said
"Always." Mewtwo replied
"(Growlithe!) Bring it on!" He replied
"Um... guys." Bonnie called, and everyone looked at her. "What are we going to do about Torchic?" She asks as she holds him in her arms
"Good question." Ash replied
"We can take him back to Prof. Sycamore's lab, so he can be ready for the next trainer." Emi suggested
"Good idea. Let's go." Ash said
Everyone thanked nurse joy, Emi returned her Pokémon to their Pokeballs and ran back to Prof. Sycamore's lab, which thankfully wasn't far from the Pokémon center. Ash opened the front door, and all of them entered only to see all three professors looking around for something.
"I know he's around here." Birch said as he looked behind a plant
"Don't worry, Prof. Birch, I'm sure we'll find Torchic before a new trainer arrives." Oak said as he looked under the couch
