rebuilding is not an easy thing to do, there is a lot of resources, a lot of people needing help with food and other things, and the paperwork. glimmer was in her office it use to be her mother's she got the office after she became queen; glimmer has a lot of paperwork to do, and she hasn't left her office much only to eat, go to meetings, and to go to the bathroom and that was it. Adora was getting worried because glimmer hasn't slept in days, so Adora gets bow, and they corner glimmer after a meeting she had. Adora grabs glimmer by her forearm and makes glimmer look at her and bow, and they saw the bags under glimmers eyes "glim love, you need rest your working yourself to hard, and your body really needs the rest" Adora said as she rubs the queens arm " she is right glimmer this isn't healthy at all" bow said crossing his arms, glimmer just looks at them for a few seconds then drops her head "I know I just want to get those stupid papers done and over with and I don't have that much left" glimmer said as she goes to Adora and puts her head on the blondes shoulder letting her wings drupe a little. Adora wraps her arms around her girlfriend and kiss the top of the queen's head "glim how about you get some sleep and when you wake up I will help you with them sounds like a deal?" Adora says moving her left hand up to rub her girlfriend's cheek and glimmer nods "ok let's get you to bed then, and bow will you be ok with doing the rest of glimmers meetings or can you ask her dad?" Adora ask picking glimmer up bridle style then looking at bow. "Ya I can, have a great nap glimmer" bow said then runs off the other way, and Adora takes glimmer to their room, Adora puts glimmer on the window couch seat then gets glimmer something much better to sleep in. Adora helps glimmer change into some pj's with stars and moons on the pants and a moon on the chest of the shirt, Adora picks glimmer up again then puts her on the bed that is now lowered to the ground. Adora puts the blankets on glimmer, and glimmer was out like a light, Adora gets on the bed and runs her hand through glimmers shoulder Length hair. " How did I get so lucky" Adora thought to herself then letting sleep take over her as well. when glimmer woke up she saw Adora is reading a book, glimmer snuggles up to Adora trying to get close to Adora more "Dora what time is it?" glimmer ask looking up at Adora as she closes her book, and Adora runs her hand through glimmers pink and purple hair "a little past 3" Adora said kissing the queens head "we should go to my office to finish those papers so it is done and out of the way" glimmer said nuzzling Adora still sleepy. "yes, and let's head to your office so your paper nightmares don't start" Adora teases and glimmer pushes her away laughing "dork" glimmer said getting up and stretch her arms over her head. Adora wraps her arms around glimmer and gives her neck butterfly kisses making glimmer jump at first but then melts from it "d-Dora we need to go to my office" glimmer said trying to hold in a small moan as Adora kept up with the butterfly kisses on the back of her neck "I know but I see your relaxing when I am doing this to you so maybe after the paper work I can give you more butterfly kisses" Adora said pulling away from glimmer " y-Ya sure we can" glimmer studders then gets her robes on and they both head over to her office. glimmer opens the door to her office and goes to her chair at her desk, and Adora pulls up a chair to help glimmer with the rest of her paperwork. it took them about an hour just to finish the work, Adora picks glimmer up then puts her on her desk and puts her forehead on glimmers forehead looking into the queen's lavender eyes "you have beautiful eyes glim" Adora said with a smile to the smaller woman "so do you Dora" glimmer said as she moves her hands to the blonde's cheeks then a frown appears on glimmers face" Adora those words I told you in front of the bathroom where Mermista was I didn't mean them at all, I don't know what came over me when I said that but I hated myself when I said that, just know I didn't mean any of it at all" glimmer said as she rubs Adora's cheeks, and Adora holds glimmers hands. "I know glimmer you where force into the role as queen still getting over losing your mother, and you where force to make choices for the kingdom, and you were doing what you thought was right yes I was hurt when you said that, yes I was mad at you when you started the heart but all that went away when horde prime took you and chipped you, I was so scared I was going to lose you that the fights and using me as bait and all the other things didn't matter anymore I am just glad you're here safe and not hurt, and I am more happy that I get to call you my girlfriend" Adora said moving her hands to the queens hips, and Adora can see tears forming in glimmers lavender eyes. glimmer kiss Adora deeply "gods Adora I love you so, so, so much" glimmer says as she wipes her tears away "also are you fully sure you want to be with me Dora besides the fact I brought a world killer here, you will become a queen consort, well the consort part the queen part doesn't come until we are married but still you will have to go to more meetings, and those boring balls, and a lot of stuff I don't think you will be ok with" glimmer said with a lot of worry in her voice. Adora kiss glimmer on the lips "glim if I wasn't ok with it me and you won't be here kissing each other" Adora said rubbing glimmers hips with her thumbs. " also, I am fine being this consort thing as long as i get to be with the most beautiful, smart, brave, and kind woman in all of ethira I am good" Adora said with a smirk when seeing glimmers face go red and hides it.
