A couple of months has passed after the war ended and things are better than it was a couple months ago. Catra came back a better person then she was, Adora had become the second ruler of bright moon but glimmer and Adora are not married or engaged, bow and jewlstar have started dating, sea hawk and mermista are engaged, Netossa and Spinnerella are expecting, perfuma and scorpia are dating, and life is just happy no more war and all the time to have a normal life.

glimmer and Adora are asleep in their bed when glimmer started to have a nightmare, where she is back on horde primes ship watching her self-hurt Adora when she was chipped, horde prime putting a hand on both her shoulders and saying "if you never got scorpia to rebound with the black garnet all of this wouldn't have happened where you hurt the woman you love, betrayed your friends, and doomed the planet". glimmer's eyes shot open, and she sat up fast, glimmer looks around to see she is in hers and Adora's room she hugs herself trying to calm her running heart, glimmer took a deep breath and teleports to the kitchen to get a glass of water. glimmer leans on a wall looking out a window, " hey sparkles" a familiar voice said from behind her making glimmer jump and dropping her water. glimmer turns around making her hands light up with her magic ready to sparkle-blast whoever was behind her, " hey it is just me!" the voice belonged to Catra who had her hands in the air. "Oh, Catra sorry you just startled me" glimmer said lowering her hands and the magic around it disappeared "so why are you up at this time Catra?" glimmer ask picking up the cup she dropped "I am half cat I am normally up at this time, but why are you up at 3 am sparkles?" Catra said going to glimmer. glimmer became quiet thinking on what to say "d-do you still remember what horde prime did to us" glimmer ask looking at the cat like woman and glimmer sees her freeze up then nod "yeah I do, why?" Catra leaned on the counter next to glimmer "I get really bad nightmares about me being chip, hurting Adora, what he did to chip me, him saying he was only here because I turn the heart on that he found us" glimmer said starting to tear up and shake. Catra grabs glimmer by the wrist and pulls her into a hug "he is dead sparkles he can't do any of that to you or anyone ever again" Catra said rubbing the queens back under her wings "you should tell Adora this she deserves to know what is keeping you up at night" Catra said looking at glimmer "I know but I don't want her to worry so much she has been more worried about me ever since that incident on that planet 3 weeks ago" glimmer said wiping her tears away. "Well, it doesn't matter she needs to know sparkles this isn't good if you are having endless nightmares so go head back to bed and tell Adora" Catra said letting the queen go from her arms and glimmer nods "thank you Catra" glimmer said and Catra nods then leaves. glimmer teleports to hers and lays in their bed, glimmer wraps her arms around Adora snuggling as close as she can to Adora.  Adora wakes up and looks at glimmer "glim are you ok your shaking" Adora said running a hand through glimmers hair "I had a nightmare, I been ever since the war ended" glimmer said nuzzling her face in Adora's chest "glim why didn't you tell me about them until now" Adora ask kissing the top of glimmers head. "I didn't want to worry you more then you were" glimmer said looking up at Adora "oh glim, it is fine I want you to tell me about this after all it is the least I can do for you helping me with my nightmares" Adora said rubbing glimmers cheek with her free hand. glimmer smiles a little at that "I want to help you, but I can't when you keep it from me so promise me you will tell me?" Adora ask with a smile " ok Dora" glimmer says and yawns "ha let get some sleep glim" Adora said putting the blankets on glimmer keeping her close. glimmer falls asleep feeling safer than all the other nights all because Catra told her to tell Adora about her nightmares, she will tell her thank you again later" Adora falls back to sleep.
