"Guys, I'm home." Y/n yelled out as she entered her apartment. Right as she walked in, she took off her shoes and set them by the doorway. "I brought some leftover donuts from the shop!"

It was currently a little passed 11:30 at night. Y/n would usually arrive at her apartment earlier, but unexpected events occurred tonight, making the said woman stay out later.

"You're late, you're never late!" One of her roommates said as he stormed his way over to her, taking the donut box out of her hands. His earrings jingling with every step and every movement he made. "What happened? Are you okay? Is everything alright?"

Y/n had a soft smile on her face as she was being interrogated by one of her roommates.

She adored them and actually viewed them as her brothers since they all knew each other when they were kids.

When they were all in the orphanage to be exact.

"I'm okay, Izana, you don't have to worry." Y/n cupped his face, softly reassured him that she's okay. A second goes by as she made me way towards the kitchen. "Although something did occur when I was closing up."

At the sound of this, her other roommate made his way towards the other two. The said roommate not showing any type of emotion on his beautiful, scarred face.

As he made his way towards them, he couldn't help but take a donut. "What happened N/n, are you alright?"

"Yeah Kaku, I'm fine. It's just.." Y/n sighed softly. Unnecessary memories fighting it's way to the surface of her mind. But, she wouldn't let the past have that sweet, satisfactory win.

Already knowing the outcome of letting her past get to her, she instead thought back to when she first Izana and Kakucho.

Ever since the three have been in the orphanage when they were kids, they were inseparable. There were no secrets kept between the three. Whether it be big or small, it didn't matter. The h/c haired colored woman trusted them, and them only. And vice versa. The guys respected Y/n's decision when she said she didn't want to be part of their gang, Tenjiku. She didn't want their protection either, but Izana secretly had some of his men watch over her from time to time.

Unfortunately, tonight wasn't one of those times.

He was mentally cursing himself for not having one of his men watch over her at least once a day, especially tonight since he knew she would close up the shop alone. The only time he thought nothing was gonna happen to her, something occurs.

Izana's mind racing 100mph with thoughts of the worst things possible that could've happened to Y/n tonight. "It's just what? Are you hurt? Did someone hurt you? I should've picked you up tonight! I just knew something bad would've happened to you! If I picked you up tonight I would've stopped whatever happened! Who was it? I swear to god I'll-"

"Woah, wait!" Y/n cut him off as she made her way towards the silver haired man and, once again, cupped his face with both her hands. "Nothing happened to me! I'm okay, see? I'm just shaken up, that's all."

Izana slightly calmed down after hearing her say this.

Kakucho, on the other hand, already devoured three donuts as he was listening to one of his best friends worry about the h/c hair dyed woman.

After finishing the third donut, he spoke up. "Alright N/n, spit it out, what happened tonight."

~Flashback~

"Akane?"

Y/n was caught off guard when he spoke up. Her name tag was on display in front of her shirt, so why did he call her by a different name?
