For the next week, Izana didn't let Y/n go to any of her part time jobs. He called both of them, telling them there has been some trouble going on back home and she needed some personal time off.

Why he didn't let Y/n talk to her bosses, she has no idea. All she could see in his eyes were fear. She knew he was afraid.

But, what she didn't know was he was afraid of another encounter from the white haired man.

Afraid of anyone who has anything to do with the white haired man that could pay Y/n a little visit.

Afraid of the gang the white haired man is in.

Izana's and Kakucho's gang have been working hard to find anything on Bonten, especially about Kokonoi Hajime.

Kakucho had some of his men keep tags on the Bonten executives as he wants to know about their moves. Warning them to be on high alert of the man with a pink mullet, Sanzu Haruchiyo.

Bonten's No. 2, the Loyal Mad Dog, HIS right hand man.

Sano Manjiro's right hand man.

Izana and Kakucho know damn well what kind of person the pink haired man is.

And if Kokonoi opened his mouth to the other executives about their beloved little sister, war was gonna break loose.

Unbeknownst to the three of them, Kokonoi had his mouth shut about his encounter with the said woman.

Every now and then thinking about why the woman reminded him so much about his late crush. But also reminding him so much of his childhood best friend. He had a fairly faint memory about his past, and perhaps about another person? But in the end, it was nothing but a blur to him.

The woman didn't have any similarities with the other Inui's. The woman has h/l, h/t h/c hair, and e/c eyes. Her skin was the only thing similar to the siblings, yet there was a good handful of people with almost the same color skin. A beautiful, smooth pale peach skin. If anyone were to focus on her skin alone, they would find a slight glow, signifying to anyone how well she maintains herself.

The first two days that Y/n didn't go in to work, Izana and Kakucho couldn't find any whereabouts of Kokonoi.

They tried to search around their usual hideouts.

Nothing.

The shops and restaurants they usually stop by.

Nothing.

They did stakeouts in random places, asked certain people if they knew anything. Hell, they even went as far as to pay someone to infiltrate Bonten in hopes of getting information about Kokonoi's whereabouts or to even find out if he's said anything about Y/n. But it all came back to them receiving nothing.

Nothing.

Nothing.

NOTHING!

"How the FUCK are we not finding ANYTHING on them?? This is fucking insane!"

"Calm down, Izana." Kakucho reached up one of his hands to pat Izana's head, trying his best to calm his best friend down. "It's just the second day, it's not like we were going to get answers the same minute we started tracking them down."

To say Izana is infuriated is an understatement.

He didn't want his little sister to have anything to do with gangs.

Call him possessive.

Call him obsessive.

But there was no way in hell he would let anybody get to close to the h/c hair colored woman. Man or woman, it didn't matter. It was a rare sight to see Izana actually take a liking to any partner of Y/n's.

"Why are you so calm, Kakucho? Aren't you worried something bad will happen to her? Why aren't you panicking? Do you even care about all of this!? HAH!? I KNEW IT! YOU DON'T! IF YOU DID, YOU WOULDN'T BE THIS FUCKING CALM! IF YOU DID, YOU WOULD SEND OUT A WHOLE ARMY LIKE HOW I'M TRYING TO DO RIGHT FUCKING NOW!! IF YOU DID-"

"Izana, STOP!" Kakucho yelled out, hands roughly grabbing onto Izana's shoulders to make him stop talking. Kakucho leaned his head down a bit to be a few centimeters away from his face. His hot breath hitting Izana and surprisingly calming him down. It was rare to see him lash out on Izana. But, right now, Kakucho didn't understand why he was assuming all of these things. "I'm as worried as you are. Okay? But we need to have a clear mind and be calm about this. We don't even know if he even said anything about Y/n."

"Yeah but-"

"But nothing!" Kakucho yelled out as he threw his arms up, already fed up with Izana. "You can't go assuming shit like that! You can't send our men out there like it's nothing. That's just signing them up for suicide."

Izana stared at Kakucho's heterochromatic eyes before looking down at his feet.

He thought he was doing a good thing by trying to find out anything right away.

He's Kurokawa fucking Izana for fucks sake! People knew to NOT get him mad.

Whatever he wanted, he got.

Everything went his way.

So why was Kakucho not obeying his every word?

Kakucho was supposed to obey his every demand like the good fucking servant he's always been.

So why was he letting Kakucho talk to him like that?

Oh.. that's right.

Because of Y/n.

Izana changed his way of thinking. For her. So she wouldn't leave them. So she wouldn't leave him.

Don't get him wrong though, he loves her like anyone would love their little sister. Even though he may be a bit possessive over her.

"I don't want anything bad happening to her, Kaku."

That's right.

Ever since she came into their lives that day in the orphanage, Izana promised himself to take good care of her. He also didn't want to make the same mistake he did with Emma.

Maybe then, by proving to himself he can keep Y/n safe, Emma and Shinichiro can forgive him somehow.

Kakucho let out a tired sigh as he engulfed Izana in a hug. One of his hands going under his fade and grabbing onto his white hair while his other arm snaked around his waist. "You're not the only one that doesn't want anything bad happening to Y/n. And I promise you, I'll never let anything happen to her. I'd rather them kill me before they even think about laying a finger on her."

Izana wrapped his arms around Kakucho's waist, burrowing his face onto his shoulder and taking in the scent of the cologne he liked so much.

At the back of his mind, he still couldn't comprehend how he's letting someone, besides Y/n, tell him what to do.

Maybe he was afraid to lose Kakucho as well.

That was probably why he felt this ache in his chest... right?

No, that can't be.

Although he's his best friend, deep down inside he was still his servant.

So why did he feel-?

No... that can't be it...

Can it?
