Amber the lioness and brave

Meeting

They were halfway through eating when they heard a shriek coming from near the lamppost the two stood up and made there way to the sound, once they reached the lamppost they hid behind a bush and they gasped at what they saw.

They saw four humans walk past, so they got up and followed them. They went to Mr. tumnus house but stayed hidden. "Psst" a bird said then a few seconds later the four children exited the house so mr. Beaver exited from his hiding spot but snapped a twig in the process so three of the children started to look for the cause of the sound while the younger of the boys just stood there.

When they saw beaver the eldest boy held his hand out and said "here boy, here boy" while making some clicking noises.

Mr. Beaver beaver stepped towards the children while saying "well I ain't gonna smell it" amber chuckled which caught the attention of the group so mr. Beaver called out "Amber you can come out now"

So i stepped into the clearing with my hair moving graciously in the wind the children stared in awe, "hi, I'm amber but you already new that, what's your names" amber said confidently

"I'm Edmund, this is my older brother Peter, my older sister Susan and my younger sister Lucy" the younger one of the boys says, surprising the rest of the children.

"hi, how old are you" the youngest girl known as Lucy asks politely "I'm 15 what about you" amber says kneeling down to the little girls height "I'm 9, Edmunds 13, Susans 14 and Peters the same age as you. I wonder who's older? Peters birthday is December 3 when's yours?" Lucy says "I'm Oder my birthday is September 16" Amber replies with a smile on her face as she stands up and dusts the snow off her knees.

"Ha that means we don't have to listen to Pete anymore" Edmund says laughing "Only if the poor girl wants the responsibility to take care of all of us?" peter asks as a question

"oh she will she takes care of everyone even if they're older than her she takes care of me all the time" mr. Beaver says

"true you guys are family now ok? I will always protect you." Amber says "thanks amber" Lucy says as she runs into ambers arms "yeah thanks" Susan says as she joins the hug "thanks your like family now too" peter says as he joins too "yeah thanks amber" Edmund says as he goes behind her to hug her which surprises everyone "your welcome everyone lets go somewhere warm shall we" amber responds as all of them start walking to the beavers home.

Once they get there the 4 children see a small dam that smells of tea and biscuits. "Oh looks like the girls got on a cup of rosy tea" mr beaver said as they walked down the hill "yay i love mrs beavers tea its always so warm and comforting" amber says to the children "the dam is lovely" Lucy says as she walks next to the oldest girl.

"it really is isn't it" she replied

"BEAVER, AMBER IS THAT YOU. YOU WERE GONE FOR SO LONG YOU HAD ME WORRIED SICK" mrs beaver said as she exited the dam but once she saw the children she stopped in her tracks I gave her a small smile so she knew they could be trusted. She waddled forward gave mr a kiss on the cheek and I bent down to give her a hug as best as i could with her little figure.

"Oh! Well those aren't baggers are they" mrs beaver said sad she walked back to her husband who is stood at the front of the door "mrs beaver this is Peter, Susan, Lucy and Edmund we found them in the Forrest" i said as we walked closer "Oh! Well come in, come in don't stand out there in the cold like that you'll get sick go sit at the table" mrs beaver says as she hurry's us inside.
