(Past Alive AU +Michael angst)

Michael's P.O.V:

"I can't believe you William!" My mother screamed throwing dishes in the kitchen. I just got back from school, and Evan and Elizabeth are at a friend's house... thankfully. What are they arguing about now? I hide behind a wall listening to my parent's argument. "I can't believe you cheated on me, and with a man no less?! That's absolutely disgusting." What?! Did I hear correctly Father cheated on mother with a man!

I guess that's karma for being such a bitch, I was ready to declare my joy to her face, but I kept quiet and listened some for a bit longer. "Jessica must be heartbroken..." What does Aunt Jess have to do with anything? Might as well keep listening. "You and Henry should be ashamed of your sinful actions!" Did mother say Henry? Did father cheat on mother with Uncle Henry?! This is all to confusing, I'm going to bed to clear my head.

Time skip -------- morning

I wake up to an odd silence that usually doesn't occur in this household. Exiting my room and entering the living room everyone was there. My father beside Henry, Evan and Elizabeth clinging on to mother's legs, and Charlie and Sammy in the arms of Aunt Jessica. Rubbing my eyes and yawning I step into the room, "father, what's going on?" Looking around my cousins and siblings are just as confused as I am, all the adults look as if they haven't slept in ages.

Honestly, I feel bad for all of them. The confused children, my father, Henry, Aunt Jess, but not mother. She's a vile women... I'd be lying if I said I wasn't scared of her. An unsettling draft wafted through the room father began to speak. "I'm sorry Michael... your mother and siblings won't be living with us anymore. We've concluded that Henry's going to be living with us now." It's not like I'm against their decision, Henry's nice he's always there for me when mother is cruel, and father is busy and don't care about my siblings too much.

It's the fact that no one truly wants me. I mean who would want a disobedient teenager, not mother, not Aunt Jess, not father, and not Henry either. I'm alone in this cruel, God forsaken world. "Michael?! Michael?!" I snap out of my thoughts, everyone's staring, the pressure is rising, and I don't think I can handle it much longer. I take a few steps towards my father leaning my head on his chest, tears welling up in my eyes. "What's wrong Michael?" Father askes with a concerned tone in his voice.

"Do... do you really want to keep me?" I ask earning a shocked reaction from him. He just sighs, biding goodbye to mother, Aunt Jess, and the kids. Once they leave Father, Henry and I sit on the couch. "Mikey, what's bothering you." I stay silent, looking down and fiddle with my thumbs. I'm so embarrassed, he's going to think I'm stupid for thinking such things. "Did you choose to keep me or did mother dump me onto you..." They both look at me with pity and something else that I can't quite identify.

"Michael, believe it or not your mother didn't want you living with her or your father. She had planned to give you away to someone else, but your father argued back. He wants you to be happy and so do I, and the way to your happiness we believe is you stay with us and away from her." Was what Henry had said true? Did father really fight for my custody? Anyway, it doesn't matter, father and Henry will be great parents.

"Thank you both, for everything." I reach out for their embrace and hug them tightly, and they return the favour. "We love you Mikey," father says softly, smiling. I hope we can be like this forever. No siblings, no mothers and wives, no kids other than me, just us. Father, Henry, and I, living out our lives without anyone else around to bother us. "I love you too father, and same to you... papa."

Their gaze stiffens onto me, their embrace now loose. I look at He- papa and... he's crying?! Did I do something wrong?! "Why are you crying?! Are you alright?!" I was panicking, but he just puts a hand on my shoulder and smiles, tears still streaming down his face, "I'm okay Mike really, I'm just happy you see me that way." Was that really it? Well, I'm glad he's happy with father, and if their happy I'm happy. "Of course, papa, your welcome."

"Alright boys it's time for bed, we've all had a long." Father declared standing up and stretching with a large yawn. "Yes father, sir!" I say saluting to him and walking to my room to get ready to go to bed. "Goodnight father, goodnight papa!" I call from the hallway, loud enough so they can hear. "Goodnight Mike!" They call back.

No one's P.O.V:

"He really seems to like you love," William says cuddling Henry from behind, wearing a smile across his face. "I'm just glad he's happy, after the chaos from today it's nice to end on a good note." Henry sighs rocking back and forth in William's arms. "Let's go to bed my dear," William sighs walking to the bedroom hand in hand with Henry.

Once in bed Henry and William hear their bedroom door creak open. Emerging from the other side of the door was Mike with a pale expression. "Mikey, what happened bud?" Henry says concerned as Mike walks over, climbing onto the bed and cuddling into William for comfort. "I had a nightmare... she took me away... you won't let her take me, will you?" Michael cries clenching William's shirt in fear.

"We'd never let her get you Mikey, it's going to be alright." William reassures, petting Michael's hair gently. "You can stay here for tonight alright." Henry says. Michael nods in agreement, and they drift off to sleep all softly snoring.
