'Dear Sydney,

I've arrived in Willingden safely. My family was very happy to see me. I hope everything is going well for you and Tom.

I think about you every day, I think about all the What ifs, all the What Could Have Been's, and why didn't I tell you how I really felt about you sooner.

I hope you and Miss Campion manage to find happiness, regardless of why you're marrying her. Maybe then you won't think about me so much.
