It was getting late and the rain suddenly started pouring down when Kei finished her meeting with someone and decided to go back home. But when she was walking outside the restaurant near the park, she saw a familiar woman walking into the rain.
She looked at her for a second to see if it was really her, but suddenly she saw a motorbike going in her direction. She immediately ran towards her, dropping the umbrella she was holding.
She called her name, but it looked like she was out of space. Luckily, her running speed worked and pulled her out of the way of the motorbike that was ready to hit her.
As she pulled her, they fell together to the ground. Kei immediately looked after her.
"Are you okay? What happened? Why are you walking in the rain in the middle of the night?" She asked her but Jinie didn't respond. Instead, she heard her crying.
"Hey, what happened?" She asked softly, but instead of saying what happened, she handed her something. As soon as she saw what it was, she already knew why she was crying.
Kei didn't ask her more about it as she lifted her up and got into her car.
When they arrived at her car, she immediately put her inside and made sure to turn on the heater and get into the back seat to get some blankets.
She put it on Jinie, who was looking down, crying silently. Kei didn't say anything as she got into the driving seat and drove away from that place.
Moments later, they arrive at Jinie's place. Jinie is also calm now as she looks at her.
"I'm sorry for the inconvenience I caused, but thank you for bringing me here." Jinie said.
"It's fine. Are you okay? Maybe I can help you?" She asked, but Jinie just shrugged.
Jinie was about to step inside the elevator when someone called her. They both looked where it came from and saw Wheein running towards them.
"Jinie please... let me explain. Let's talk for a while, please..." Wheein was begging, but Jinie was looking at her without emotions on her face.
Wheein went close and grabbed Jinie's wrist, but Jinie was pulling it away, so when Kei saw it, she pulled her away from Wheein.
"Go back. Can't you see she didn't want to talk to you?" She said to her sister, but Wheein was about to go close again.
Kei blocked her. "I already said she doesn't want to talk to you. Are you really that dumb?"
Wheein's hand turns into a fist. "Stop blocking me, you're out of our problem." Wheein suddenly punch her. Jinie was shocked and tried to stop them, but she just laughed at her.
"You warned me before, right? If I go closer to Jinie again, you will do something, so okay... I don't care if you punch me again, because you are the one who's going to be married soon to a different girl..." Wheein was about to punch her again when she heard what she said, but Jinie pulled her as she shouted at Wheein.
"Stop! Can you leave us alone, please? Because if you don't leave now, m-aybe I will fully push you away and... I- I don't want it, so please leave me for now. Wheein, please, I'm begging you..." Wheein was crying, but Jinie just pulled Kei into the elevator, and before it closed, she looked at Wheein for the last time.
...
After Wheein was left alone, she immediately went home to have a talk with Sowon.
When she went home, she immediately called Sowon angrily, and when she saw her, she tried to calm herself because she didn't want to hurt her, even though she wanted to.
"Why did you do that, huh!"
Sowon looked at her confused. "What? Is it wrong to tell her about it? For God's sake, you are getting married soon and you still want to date someone? You will just hurt her!"
"I wouldn't hurt her, but look what you did!" She was angry at her.
"So you're telling me it's my fault?" Sowon sarcastically laughs and looks at her. "She's already hurt because of you because you didn't tell her that you were getting married and, worse, she's fallen in love with someone who can't catch her! So tell me it's my fault?"
"But you shouldn't tell her that because it's not going to happened."
"Really? Are you really sure you're going to disobey your father's order? You can't stop this wedding, Wheein, and that is for sure!"
Sowon left her alone. She sighed as she looked at her running into the stairs.
...
"Hey, are you okay?" Kei was asking Jinie.
They're inside her hotel room. Jinie was sitting as she was spacing out.
She went closer to her and held her shoulder. "If you're not okay and you want someone who can listen to you, I'm here. I'm willing to listen to you."
Jinie looked down as she sighed.
"I'm not okay, but... Can I do something about it even if I really want to?"
Kei looks at her. "Do you really love her that much that you're willing to do everything just to stop her from getting married?"
"Maybe... I'm an idiot for loving her, even though I didn't know she was already going to get married, but... Yes, I love her so much that I will do anything for her."
Kei didn't know what to say. She could hear her crying. She wants to hug her, but she knows it won't make her stop crying.
"S-he said to me that I should trust her so maybe it's time to trust her... If she really loves me, she will choose me, but if she doesn't, I will accept it because I love her, Kei, I surely love her."
She just smiles as she pats her back, trying to comfort her.
"I know she loves you too, so let's just hope for the better."
After a while, Jinie falls asleep on her shoulder. She looks at her for a second and then lifts her up and puts her in her bed room. She fixed the blanket and made sure she was okay before she decided to leave.
