It was near the end of April. I never knew this one little feeling would change my life so drastically.

I looked down at the boy resting his head on my shoulder. Spencer Contreau. We hadn't always been friends. I'll admit that.

At one point he was going out with my best friend, Tamika and I told her that he was an ugly monkey and so irritating. It's true. He was irritating. But not in the kinda way that makes you want to rip your hair out. In the kinda way that was teasing/ flirting.

As for the 'ugly monkey' bit. So not true. Spencer was one of the most good looking guys I knew. He had light brown curly hair that lightly fell a bit over his forehead. He had light green, precious eyes. And as for his body. Where do I start.

The one thing is, Spencer and I were good friends and him and Tamika had recently broken up. I never thought that I'd "fall" for him. But seeing him laying there on my shoulder sent butterflies through my tummy unexpectedly. But why Spencer? If it was up to me I would've changed my mind. Not liking Spencer would've been nice. As cliché as this sounds, my heart chose differently. My head was telling me it was a bad idea and I completely agreed with it. But of course my heart takes over and does whatever the heck it wants.

"I just need to go the bathroom." I said to Spencer.

"Sure." He said as he winked to me.

I wondered off to the bathroom and pulled out my little Nokia and dialled Tamika's number.

"Dude are you busy tomorrow night?"

"No why?" You see, Tamika is the kind of person if you randomly ask her something she gets suspicious. I knew she knew something was up.

"Sleepover. Something bad's happened. I need to tell you."

"Ok. Well don't forget. See you tomorrow."

I opened the door to find Spencer staring me straight in the face.

"What do you need to tell Tamika?" He teased.

"None of you're business."

"Woah. Calm down, crazy."

"I wasn't even getting annoyed."

"Now you are." He winked and poked me in the tummy.

"Whatever." I smiled.

"Still heartbroken over James, I see?"

James Monette. The typical heartthrob and Spencer's best friend. Blonde, curly hair, blue eyes, long eyelashes, amazing body. Every girls dream I tell you. Every girl in my grade at school had a crush on him at least once. And lucky me, I got to be his girlfriend. For a week. He told me his was testing people out. Seeing the variety around. Obviously I wasn't his type. But I had gone and moved over him as quickly as I had liked him. James was nothing more than an arrogant flirt.

"No. Actually I'm very much over him. Someone else has got my attention."

"Haha! I feel sorry for them. They've got a crazy stalker coming after them. You should tell me who they are so I can warn them to hide." He started laughing the sweetest sounding laugh I'd ever heard.

I glared at him. Even though he insulted me, I love seeing him laugh. He's had the straightest white teeth and a cute little dimple on his right cheek. I couldn't help but laugh a bit too at how serious I was trying to be.

"Are we going to finish the movie or not, you doofus?"

"Anything you wish, your majesty." He said as he bowed down.

"Why thank you." I said with a giggle.
