Chapter 18

~Luca's POV~

I knew what I had to do. So I was going to do it. Tonight was prom night and I wanted to make a big romantic gesture. 

So I put on the suit.

I did a bit of makeup. 

I did my hair. 

I got the flowers.

And I left.

I walked to his house.

I mustered up and the courage I had.

And I knocked.

I heard the lock being undone and exhaled deeply. 

And the door opened.

I saw his shocked face and all I could do was smile.

"H-hi" I said almost crying "I came to ask for another chance I'm so sor-" I was interrupted by him. Not his words.

His lips. On mine. and I kissed back. It's all  could do. I felt a tear drop onto my face from his and then a pair of arms around my waist. When we pulled apart i got the memo.

"I want to go to prom with you so badly Luca. God, I'm so sorry I left you there. I-i thought you were dead. I was so scared that day Luca. I'm sorry. I do love you. I love you so so much and it hurt me so much to be  away from you. Please come back to me baby. I-i can go get ready now, I'll do whatever you want me to. But please don't leave me again." He said sobbing by the end which in turn made me cry.

"I missed you too Ash. But you really need to learn to pick up the fucking phone. Because I thought I was going to die and I wasn't gonna get to see you again. Now go get ready we have somewhere to go." I said accompanied by another passionate kiss.

"Okay" he said before dragging me inside.

We went up the stairs up to his room which was the worst it had ever been. I set the flowers on the bed and watched as he began to get ready. It felt like forever waiting for him. but when he came out I was sure of everything.

I wanted- no I needed to be with him. I jumped up and we met eyes. I started coming closer to him. We kissed. Again. I was in heaven. 

"We should go" he said with our foreheads pressed together.

"yeah" I said breathlessly.

And so we left.
