The Sun Of Dusk

Chapter One (love isn't easy)

Here's how the story goes.

Karl, Quackity and Sapnap are in love but unfortunately, Quackity favours Karl over Sapnap.

He would give cuddles, soft kisses and acknowledge Karl much more than Sapnap.

Although Sapnap makes the first move, he felt tired of doing his act when Quackity wasn't doing anything to help the bond between the both of them.

Quackity, as much as he wanted to, would have pushed him far far away from Karl and him. But knowing that Karl adores both boys, he doesn't fight back in fear of Karl finding out and breaking up with him.

Sapnap constantly complains and whines to his best friends, Dream and George, but even they could not help the relationship. They tried talking to Quackity but he wouldn't budge.

Sapnap then resorts to his trusted friend, Wilbur.

"I dont know what to do anymore! I want this to stop, No matter whatever I do to him Quackity still favours Karl! I just...I love them both equally but...but..." Sapnap complains, sighing right after.

"Hey, Calm down Sapnap. I'll handle him. Dont put the stress and pressure on yourself, anymore," Wilbur says calmly, putting his palm on Sapnap's shoulder.

While walking home, Wilbur whips out his phone to dial Quackity's number.

"Hello?" Quackity answered from the other end.

"Hey bud, I've got a deal for you. If you can give most of your attention to Sapnap for a whole month, you win 2 million dollars. Fail to do so, and you'll be the one owing me a million. I've got my ways of knowing you fail. Sapnap will tell me how each and everyday went, so there's no way you can escape," Wilbur said firmly.

"Ahah, sorry man. I can't do-" Quackity tried to object but was rudely interupted by Wilbur.

"Quackity, I wasn't asking you. Its an order. Remember, fail to do so and you owe me a million." Wilbur says the last part in a stern tone before quickly ending the call.

Beep. The sound of the phone call ending could be heard but in spite of that, Quackity still held it up to his ear, as if waiting for some reply saying it was a prank. After almost a minute, Quackity finally takes the phone off of his ear.

'I cant just ignore Karl, but I can't owe him any money! Wilbur's rich, why Sapnap. I really hope Karl will understand...'

What Quackity didn't know is that Karl knew about it. Wilbur had seperately told Karl and Sapnap about the plan.

Karl knew about the troubles in the bond between Quackity and Sapnap so he agrees to go on a trip to New Zealand for a whole month with Wilbur. Karl ran home to inform them about the trip to New Zealand with an "old" friend.

"What? You're going to New Zealand for a month? But I- Nevermind..." Quackity stutters, trailing of near the end.

'Its probably just a coincidence, Karl wouldn't have known, Right?'

Quackity, Karl and Sapnap crawled into bed and slept together for the last time before the Month.

-6:30 a.m.

Karl got ready and gave them both forehead kisses before saying goodbye softly. Taking one last look at the two boys, he knew it was for their own good. Gripping onto his luggage, he stepped out of the house and was greeted by Wilbur rolling down his window to gesture Karl into the Car.

"I know you'll miss them, but you know its for them," Wilbur says, looking into his Car mirror to see Karl looking sadly at his phone.

Karl glances at Wilbur's Car mirror and gives a smile.

-9:06 a.m.

Quackity wakes up to Sapnap sleeping peacefully next to him. He got up frantically as he did not see Karl anywhere. Just then, he recalls what happened the previous day.

'Ah, Karl left to New Zealand..."

Quackity Glances back at Sapnap before embracing him into a hug, hoping that the day could not get even worse.
