"Give me the class's numbers." I say barging into Aizawa's classroom minutes after we arrived back at school. The training camp idea was abandoned and we traveled back as soon as possible.
"What?" Aizawa says as I slam the door behind me.
"You heard me, I need the class's numbers." I repeat.
"Why on earth-" a look of realization appears on his face. "Oh. Shoto you can't just go out there and do this. All might will get him back." Aizawa says not looking up from the stack of papers on his desk. He's been noticeably different since I let Bakugou get kidnapped. He's clearly depressed, one of the best in the class is gone because of me, but he won't admit it.
"I know you miss him too." I say. "Who wouldn't. Even though he was a tad bit annoying with his yelling, he's a major part of the class. I feel like I've failed him." Aizawa says.
"Did you tell Bakugou's parents yet?" I ask. "No, they're supposed to come to the school in about half an hour so I can tell them." Aizawa says, getting up. "Why?" He asks with a questioning look.
"I want to tell them. We know Bakugou couldn't be the traitor, he was targeted." I say.
"But what if they made a plan to act like they were kidnapping Bakugou, only to tell him their next step?" Aizawa asks.
"Based on all the missions I've worked on, Shigaraki is way more coordinated, most of the minor villains come from him. And he's actually pretty smart. He wouldn't make a big scene about kidnapping someone who is on his own side." I say.
"True. So you plan on telling his parents?" He asks. "Yes. It was my fault, I'm a pro hero and I couldn't save him. That puts a lot more guilt on my shoulders than if I was a regular UA student." I say.
"Shoto-" "Don't Shoto me. It was my responsibility. I failed you, on the second day." I say.
He lets out a sigh before looking up at me once more. "I give you permission to tell Bakugou's parents. But I'm coming with you." He says.
"Okay. Might as well change. I'll be back in less than 5 minutes." I say rushing out not bothering to hear his response.
I got Bakugou in this mess and I'll get him out of it. First step, meeting his parents.
I rush into the bathroom fixing up my hair and washing my face. I quickly throw on a casual shirt and jeans and rush back to the classroom.
"Mrs and Mr.Bakugou, please come in." I heard Aizawa say, once I'm a hall away from the class.
"Please call me Mitsuki."
"Masaru. Is there an urgent reason we were called? You said it wasn't good news." Masaru says.
"Did the brat do anything bad?" Mitsuki asks.
"Hello," I say walking in the classroom. "Allow me to introduce myself, I'm Shoto." I say, bowing in respect.
"Hello Shoto. Will you tell us what's going on? And aren't you only a student?" Masaru asks. Guess looks can deceive.
"I'm an adult. A pro hero actually. And yes I'll be telling you what happened." I say.
Masaru looks like he's about to apologize but I stop him. "Come, sit with us."
"So, I should probably tell you why I'm the one telling you the news." I say once we're all seated. Mitsuki nods in agreement.
"I'm a stealth hero. The only people who actually know I'm a pro hero are heroes I've worked with and the police department and dispatchers. I was put on a mission to do at this school. I'm acting like a student in class 1a to figure out who the traitor is. Surely you must've heard rumors of the so-called UA traitor." I say.
Both parents nod in agreement and I see Mitsuki's grip on Masaru's hand tighten.
"He isn't the UA traitor, right? I couldn't bear to see that brat as the traitor." Mitsuki says.
I look at Aizawa, and he gives me a look to keep going.
"He isn't the UA traitor. That investigation is still under study." I say.
A sigh of relief leaves Mitsuki.
"But, something happened. And it is all my fault it happened. I know I should've been faster, smarter, better, but I wasn't. It's only my second day and I've failed someone." I say watching Mitsuki tense up again.
I let out a deep breath.
"We...We went to training camp today morning. We reached the area around 9:00am, it wasn't too far from UA. We were separated into We were training for a major part of the day, starting around 10:00am. Around 3:00pm...the league of villains had found the location of the training camp. We all fought." I say, pausing to take a deep breath.
"Your son was their target." Aizawa says for me, with a grim expression.
I hear two gasps and continue.
"We fought. I'm pretty sure everyone did. Your son fought too, he's strong. You should be proud of him." I say.
"S-stop saying shit and just tell us Shoto." Mitsuki says.
"Your son...
Your son was kidnapped, Mitsuki."
