"This is where I stop" says the Pilot
"Thanks for the lift" I say happy as hell to be back at beacon
"I wonder what all this is for" Weiss says
"What do you mean" Jaune asks her
"Well with the rescue mission and stuff" Weiss replies
"Well let's not worry about that right now it's been a long flight back to beacon and it is also 12:00 am, so I suggest we go to our dorms and pick this up tomorrow morning" I say this with curiosity and while also being have asleep
"Ok, we have to go tell Ozpin and Goodwitch that you guys are here at beacon, so we will catch you guys later" Ren says reminding his team about that
*ten minutes later*
"Hey someone come here I see a glare on top of the Barn" Blake says with suspicion
"Yeah I wonder what that is" I say then I see the glare get brighter for like a split second then I feel excruciating pain in my left shoulder and I drop to the floor
"Fuck, GET DOWN" I say in pain my brain trying to piece together what's going on
"Is anyone else hurt" Weiss asks in a mass panic
"Me..." Ruby says in the back of the room holding her hand over her stomach
"NO RUBY" I rush to her as fast I can while on my stomach army crawling towards her.
I wrap my arms around her and I feel three more shots hit my back and I pick Ruby up with all my strength I have left and carry her to hallway the other girls follow us out to the hall
"Oh my god are you guys ok" Yang asks bawling
"Take care of Ruby she's more important right now and I'm going take care of that S.O.B. once and for all" I say with my eyes going from Cyan to a Black emptiness
"No, I don't want you to risk" Blake says tearing up
"I'll be fi-" A bullet goes through the wall hit me in chest and knocking me on my ass and I can see the tears off of Yangs face turning to steam
"COAL NO" Yang says with sadness and anger
"Don't worry can one of you sneak in the room and grab the box labeled Patience and Time" I say In agony
"I'll get it" Weiss says "I'll use my glyphs I'll be In out"
"Don't lolly gag mine and Rubys' life's depends on it" I say slowly fading away, Weiss quickly glyph travels and brings me the box. I put together the sniper I call Patience and Time I set up the sniper on my knee
"There you are you ugly son of a-" I pull the trigger, the bullet goes through both walls and kills the person shooting at us " Get us to the medical ward asap" I say right before passing out
*3 days later* I wake up in the medical ward seeing Ruby awake in the bed to the left of me talking to Weiss and Blake, Yang is in a chair beside my bed asleep on my left arm.
"Hey Ruby you feeling fine" I managed to mumble out and I push my self up into a sitting position
"COAL" They all three say excited waking Yang up
"Coal" Yang starts to cry " I thought you were going to die" She stand up out of her chair hugs me
"Hey I'm not going to die I'm a Guardian sweetie" I say tearing up
"A Guardian, aren't they-" I cut off Weiss "Legends, yes"
The door to our room opens Ozpin, Goodwitch, Team JNPR and three new people along with Velvet
"How are you feeling Coal" Ozpin asks with concern
"A little sore, but I'll be fine a few new scars won't hurt" I reply with smirking "May I ask who you three are if you don't mind"
"I'm Coco Adel, Fox Alistair, Velvet Scarlatina and Yatsuhashi Daichi" Coco say to me with a bit of awe
"Well we came down here to say thanks for risking your life to save a fellow student and team member" Says GoodWitch
"Don't mention it, I did what I felt was right" I tell her rubbing my back
"We will be on our way now" Velvet says as she closes the door behind her
"So do you think you'll be able to start classes again soon" Ozpin asks me and Ruby
"Yeah" Me and Ruby say simultaneously
"Good, we will see you back in classes soon" Glynda says and they both walk out the the room
"So JNPR, why are you guys down here" Blake asks them
"We came to check up on you guys, especially Yang and Coal" Nora says looking very happy to see me awake well
"Thanks, means a lot" I say this then the nurse opens the door
"Oh good your awake, and tomorrow you'll be good to go back to your dorms" The nurse says leaving the clip board at the edge of the bed and she exits the room
"Oh, they did figure out the guy who shot you his name was Chance Ringer" Ren tells me
"You got to be kidding me" I say while hanging my head
"What is it" Yang asks with a tilted head
"Well his street name was Retro Gunslinger he was a good guy then, we'll he changed he started killing off friends my friends, our friends, he tried to kill me, but I knocked him out and I ran" I say this with quieter voice
"Wow, is that why he wanted to kill us" Ruby asks
"No, I think he was brainwashed by the House of Darkness" I say that with an expression of pain and loss
"House of Darkness" Pyrrah asks tilting her to the side like a puppy
"That sounds like a club" Jaune says
"It's a notorious gang, it is made up of a White Fang exiles, after they turned to violence"
"Jeez, how bad are they" Blake asks
"I can't even describe what I've seen them do to people" I tell them that and I see the color rush out every one looking like a piece of white paper
"Well we're going to back to our dorms I hope we will see you and Ruby back up there soon" Ren says shutting the door behind them
"Back to Coal being a guardian" Weiss says
"Yes, I am a guardian, there are only two in existence and both are in Vale" I get cut off by Ruby
"Does the other person know that they are guardian" Ruby asks
"No, no she does not know, so that's why I'm going tell her" I look at Yang "yang you are a guardian" she gets a very confused look which I knew it was going to happen
"No, you're screwing with me... right" Yang has longing look of confusion over her face
"You don't believe do you" Yang shakes her head no"Let me see hand and I'll show you that you are a guardian" Grab her hand and I place it on my chest and I say" Let the lords of the Guards wash us in light and let the darkness be lock away by the Weapons of the Iron Lords" She glows bright, by doing this It changed my eye color from Cyan to now a bit of a golden color
(A.N.) I know it's been a while but I've been overwhelmed with stuff like all-county band, school stuff and Relationship stuff which Relationship no longer exists but enough of me complaining about that and as always I hoped you enjoyed this installment
