"How's your feeling, A-zhan?"

Zhan smiled brightly. He was fine, he was sure that he was truly alright. He remembered how he struggled, stammering when he talked to Yibo. He asked for forgiveness because of what he did. He protected Linian. He protected the woman who killed his husband's aunt. His mind flooded with memories, of how he explained himself to Yibo. He was scared and at the same time frustrated. He cannot explain himself. The words in his mind were there but he cannot bring to voice those words out.

"I am fine Dad"

His Dad looked away. He sighed. Of course,  his A-zhan will be fine, as always.  His son will always find a way to be fine.

Zhan on the other hand turned to direct his gaze on his flat stomach. It was such wonderful news to know that he's pregnant again.  He was grateful that the problem and the misunderstanding between him and his husband were already settled, if it doesn't? He doesn't know what to do. He doesn't want to hold any more negative emotions and harm the life that is starting to grow inside of him. He doesn't want to worry about his and his unborn child's safety anymore. He wanted this journey to be joyous and wonderful for him, Yibo, and their son Xicheng.

He sighed. Xicheng is going to be one a one-year-old a few months now, yet he's pregnant again. He should reprimand...no, rather than reprimanding his husband, he needs to be cautious. He cannot let himself give in, everytime Yibo will initiate them to do the deed.

Thinking about it, he cannot help but feel flustered. His cheeks were tainted with a faint color of red. So he had to look away again.

And it happened that his and Yibo's eyes met when he chose to divert his gaze, to avoid the prying gaze of his Dad.

Automatically, Yibo smiled at him. No, rather than it was a sly kind of smirk he's displaying right now. There was a hint of pride reflecting in his eyes. He cannot help but feel even more embarrassed. It feels like Yibo can read his thoughts transparently without having any trouble. It was like his thoughts were bare in front of him. So all he could do was grab his blanket tightly and pressed his lips altogether and bowed his head.

Suddenly his husband warm hand gently caressed his cheek. Yibo was now looking at him but that teasing smile and smirk that he had somehow changed and his expression shifted from having a smug look on his face to being worried.

"You're not comfortable aren't you?"

His Bobo even tucked a few strands of hair covering his face to the back of his ear. His eyes were gentle, staring directly at him.
