Chapter 11: Back

I looked around once again. A forest. That was all I could see.

I looked over at the bushes and went closer to it, step by step I felt paranoid. I heard a branch break.

I didn't react, but quietly got out my weapon. I gripped it tightly. I'm not letting my guard down, no. Never again.

I looked around and turned around but then I heard a squeak I gripped on my weapon and turned around ready to attack.

"Enough games! Reveal yourself!" I looked around waiting for an ambush. I then noticed the squirrel on the ground.

It ran away quickly when I noticed it. "Huh.. So it was just a squirrel" I hid my weapon once more. Deciding to explore this forest.

I continued to walk a straight path. There was no path else anyways.

I then felt a disturbing aura as I walked farther away from where I started. I then heard another noise.

I ignored it, thinking it was another animal. I felt a pain on my back. Shit.

I didn't have time to grab my weapon. I quickly kicked the person behind me. I then quickly got out my weapon and started to attack them.

They groaned before I felt something stun me. I felt my eyelids get heavy and I passed out.

I let my guard down. Again

I woke up, sweat on my forehead. I breathed in and out. What the hell was that?

I walked back to school, expecting all eyes to be on me. As I walked in I felt people staring at me, some mad some happy. It was equal.

I felt my back hurt but ignored it. Kagura then noticed me and waved over to me. She was at her locker. She was taking books for AP? English? Who knows.

I walked over to her and she smiled at me "It's nice to see you back Hanabi" I nodded my head. I wasn't in the mood for conversations.

I walked over to my class while Kagura went to hers. I sat down and I felt eyes staring at me. I rolled my eyes and got out my pen and paper. I have English class, Kagura told me she had Science. She frowned when she realized we had different classes but I couldn't care less.

"Alright everybody. Get your pens and papers out we are going to have a quiz today" I groaned. How am I supposed to answer this? Hell I couldn't even study.

I went in the cafeteria to grab something to eat for break. I grabbed a sandwich, a drink and an apple.

I saw Kagura approach me "Let's go sit with Hayabusa!" I nodded as I followed her. I sat down on my seat and started to eat my food silently while Kagura and Hayabusa talked.

I heared the bell ring. Finally lunch is over.

I headed over to my class but I felt someone drag me in a room.

"Hey! What the h-" I got cut off by a hand covering my mouth.

"What the hell is going to happen now"
