What am I doing with my life
...
"Finally!" Hanzo thought to himself as he had dragged his feet all the way to Hanabi's house. His legs were sore and tired from walking, and knowing that he will most likely get scolded for being late, did not ease his nerves at all.
Knocking on the door, the sound of light footsteps became louder until he was met with an angered Kagura opening the door for him.
She looked annoyed, but was attempting to cover his annoyance with a smile. Most likely forced by Hanabi to act nice especially with how late he came.
"Look who's finally here.. I've been calling you on your phone! It's been 30 minutes!"
Kagura angrily rambled as she picnhed Hanzo's ear and dragged him over to Hanabi's room. Leaving him to writhe painfully with no success in getting away, not like he had intentions to, it would only end up in vain.
"I had some issues along the way!"
He tried to explain, only to be forced inside the room. There sat Hanabi, just staring blankly at Kagura's rage and the pained expression on Hanzo's face as he attempted to soothe the ear the other had pinched and used to drag him here.
"Welcome."
She said blankly, standing up and petting his back as encouragement. She felt slightly relieved that Hanzo was here now, she did have to witness Kagura almost breaking her phone from calling Hanzo.
"You better not repeat this."
Kagura whispered before her expression turned back to being happy and hugging Hanabi, she had already missed her even if she had just taken a few minutes to drag Hanzo up to her room.
...
"What the f*ck"
Hayabusa cursed as the phone in his pocket kept vibrating with calls, taking it out to see it was Kagura's contact number on display.
Just as he saw the contact number, he powered off the phone. He really didn't want to deal with anyone else, he's already bumped into Hanzo when he was just trying to buy that one perfume he had bought in the store.
"What am I meant to do.."
He sighed as his shoulders slouched in dissapointment at himself.
He was now in a local park, it was quiet as there were almost no children around. The only noise was the cir cream truck passing by and the sound of birds flocking their wings to fly and land to eat whatever.
His back slouched, shoulders droop and almost no energy to even attempt to fix his position that will unfortunately bring him back pain.
'Should I check up on Hanabi..? No, that's too awkward.'
He scratched his head as he thought of what to do to pass time. He can always go home, but then he'd just be stuck in a miserable cycle of loneliness.
Even if he did check up on Hanabi, the conversation would no doubt be awkward, if she was even on her phone. Considering her sickness, Kagura would forbid her from using her phone.
Sighing in defeat, he lied down on the bench, not caring if he looked like homeless or a broke teenager that ran away from home.
Closing his eyes to distract himself from his own thoughts, he hadn't realized, his dumbass fell asleep.
