The One On One (Pt. 2)

The volume of the speakers slowly increased. You saw what appeared to be arrows on top of Agoti and Tabi. Agoti held a ready stance as the beat dropped. More arrows started to appear. Tabi started to rap. You noticed that the sounds and movements Tabi is making sync with the arrows. You noticed the same with Agoti.

You also noticed that Agoti seemed to be twisting the song. The cyan-haired man tried to repeat the arrows Tabi was syncing to. Agoti seems to be somehow simplifying the song to increase the chance of winning. "No wonder he looks quite chill..." You thought to yourself.

"UGH" Tabi grunted tiredly yet aggressively. "JUST DIE!"

Suddenly, everything started to intensify. Tabi enhanced the volume, speed, and number of arrows on the song.

You started to worry. "What would happen if he loses? Is there a way I can help him? Should I help him?" You started to ask yourself. "No. He can do this... right?" You started to think as you turned your attention to the rap battle.

Tabi appeared to be a bit out of sync. You took a closer look at the arrows. Some arrows weren't being hit and sometimes the wrong ones were hit. You realized that there was still hope.

It was Agoti's turn. It only took him a millisecond to clear his throat. You listened and saw that he hit every single arrow perfectly. You start to realize that you found his voice was rather nice --- even if it sounded like a Sega genesis.

The beat dropped down once more. Tabi looked rather weak and injured. He turned to see that the woman and man had escaped. "How could you?! I want to get my hands on that brat! You said it yourself. We are after the same targets!"

"Well, since I won, I will get them first!"
Agoti said with an aggressive grin displayed on his face.

You felt pain in your back and decided to crawl out of the wrecked restaurant. Unluckily, Tabi spotted you. He immediately grabbed a chair and threw it towards you. Before you could even blink you blacked out once more.

A few seconds later you opened your eyes. In front of you, you saw Agoti rather weakened and coughing out blood.

"I won't let you get away with this unevenly," Tabi said.

Your heartbeat started racing. You couldn't figure it out because of fear or... anger. No... it really was anger. Somehow, you couldn't stand seeing Agoti wounded like this.

Without a second thought, you kicked Tabi out of the way. Since he was weakened by the two rap battles, he couldn't catch up to you. You grabbed Agoti and scrambled to the exit. You could hear sirens here and there... then you felt yourself collapsing.....
