Y/N Pov
It was yet another day in this glade, every day Ben and Minho go into the maze to remember then map out the maze when they come back. Gally is like their back up runner when one of them is injured. As I helped Chuck with his task, my mind couldn't stop thinking about that roar I heard in the forest, it sounded a lot like Derek's.
" Ah, we need some more wood"
" Don't worry chuck, I'll get it" I say, patting him on his head and heading off into the forest
Wandering around, I look for sticks that could be useful when I hear ragged breathing and the crunching of leaves from in front of me. Snapping my head towards the sound, I notice it's only Ben, releasing a breath.
" Hey Ben, when did you come back?" I ask
He doesn't reply. He just stands there, huffing and puffing, dark sort of veins covering his face. Wait VEINS?! Realising what was happening to him, I slowly step backwards towards the way to the glade.
" You. You FREAK" he screams before lunging at me and pinning me to the ground. Not wanting to hurt him I continue to fight him off without using my advantages. Feeling his nails clawing at my skin, I start to scream out and wince in pain. Suddenly, the weight is lifted off you as you lock your eyes with some red ones
" Run y/n!" they says making you dash for the glade.
"HELP HELP" you scream, waving your arms around helplessly.
"Woah y/n. What's wrong. Are you hurt??"
" No Newt but come quick I think ben has been infected?! He'sfighting my brother right now!"
"But I'm right here?"
"No not you. Derek!"
"What the fuck is he doing here?!" shouts Stiles but before I could answer, both Derek and Ben come rolling in. Newt whacks him in the head with a massive stick as he passes out in front of our eyes. Derek turns back into human form and I ran towards him, wrapping y arms around his neck as he twirled me round.
"Omg Derek I knew it was you who I heard theother night. How's the pack??"
"They're good but we need to get you out of here now?! Where is Stiles?"
"Right here!" he says while putting his arms out for a hug which he completely ignores earning a few snickers from the glade. Awkward!
" Wait but what about everyone else? We need to take them with us!"
"Ah alright fine. But we need to go now"
"How though?"
" It's super easy when you have a witch on your side" he winks at me
"Omg Bonnie!"
Ushering everyone towards the woods I feel an arm around my waist. " What was all that?"
" I'll explain everything when we get to Beacon Hills"
"Sure darling" he smiles before I catch a sharp growl erupt from Derek's mouth
"Derek!? it's alright. We call each other nicknames for fun"
He nods before ushering us both towards a portal near the centre of the forest.
" What about Ben?"
" I'm sorry y/n, it's too late" Newt says before pulling me in and I drift into darkness
