Manaka was wonderstruck by the boy beneath her, her body toppled on top of his. Her palms rested against his chest, feeling his abdomen take deep heaves of breaths with his eyes closed whilst her violet ones trembled like ripples on a translucent pond's surface. His firm grip on her refused to let go, fearing as if she'd shatter once she slips out of his grasp.

She couldn't pass a single word out of her mouth, her high rate already suffering from an infused fast tempo. What had just occurred momentarily ago denied springing into that haggard brain of hers. While she was falling, Naruto managed to land a hit against the enemy's stomach before he dove in to capture her in his arms. And him catching her ahead of time longed for the extraordinary. He twirled her around just in time before his back took the hit.

Manaka matched Naruto's heavy pants as she finally removed her weight off of him and helped him sit upright. "You saved me." She said, eyes failing to bat an eyelash.

Regardless of the fact he was in excruciating pain from landing on top of his back, Naruto still managed to smile through the achenes. "Didn't I tell you I'd be there to catch you if you end up falling?"

A quavered breath left her lips. She lowered her head, slouching, her silky-like hair fanning over her face. "I'm sorry."

Naruto's eyes burned in concern as he stared at her, straightening his posture. "Why are you apologizing?"

"Because this is all my fault. I technically ruined our night and got you hurt!" Her lips began trembling, shame flooding her immensely.

"What? No, you didn't! This has nothing to do with you. These guys were just a bunch of assholes looking for a fight." He reassured, inching closer to her side.

Speaking of the devil, Manaka looked up at the cliff that stood now distant from their figures and queried. "What's going to happen to them?"

Naruto didn't give it much thought, quickly letting out a victorious laugh. "He, he, he, I gave them a lesson or two which'll likely keep them unconscious for approximately two days. So, don't worry. Someone will eventually find them and lock them in jail."

"But, how will they know they are evil?" Her brows knitted together.

"Through this." He swiftly summoned one of his clones and informed him to notify the Hokage about the men he defeated a short while ago. The clone nodded and darted out of sight.

Manaka stared in adoration, fists clenching tightly. She really can not help herself when it comes to witnessing his supernatural phenomena unfold in front of her field of vision. She probably idolizes his Chakra more than he does. Damn, if only she had her own Chakra. The things she could do with this kind of power. Well, in a sense, who knows? Maybe someday she'll possibly trigger a response if she practices further in becoming one with her spiritual self just like how Naruto had taught her; Subsequently, she fangirled over his quick brisk brawl.

"You were seriously unbelievable out there, almost like Spider-man, dodging and countering their attacks with your 6th sense! They didn't even land a single scratch on you, unlike you who showed them a quick preview of the afterlife, which I'm glad you did hehe!" She giggled. Though, her praise abruptly came to a halt when she remembered what the enemy had said about him before aiming for an attack. Her grin ceased, limbs suddenly turning numb.

"But one of them said something that bothered me along the way." Her brows once again scrunched in concern.

His eyes... those perfect, ocean-like eyes. The kind that puts the sky to shame. She stared into them for what felt like an eternity. It was strange how they appeared to be drowned in such pure innocence yet simultaneously cherishing impenetrable secrets she had yet to discover. She couldn't bring herself to continue. It was a sensitive topic and she didn't want to upset him. But, was it true? Did the man truly mean what he said? The part when he mentioned-her thoughts became too heavy in her head for her to bear any longer.
