Divination was a load of crap. Today Professor Trilawny told Harry he had "THE GRIM" what a load of bull. Now me, Hermione, Ron, and Harry were headed to Care of Magical Creature with are new Professor Hagrid, I'm so excited for him.

We met in front of Hagrids hut and he said he had a real treat for us today, we then followed him back into a forest. Neville had opened his book before stroking the back, Malfoy had to ask how to open it too, these books were dangerous if you opened 'em wrong.

"These books are funny" i said, they were, dangerous, but funny, "oh yeah terribly funny, really witty." Malfoy interrupted "wait til my father hears Dumbledors got this oaf teaching classes." Harry started walking toward him, "shut up Malfoy" then Malfoy and his little gang had there oOo's and pretended there was a dementor behind us, we all jerked to look behind us but there wasn't a dementor in sight.

Hagrid finally showed us his surprise, to was a hippogriff. Everyone was scared of him but i found him fascinating. I watched as everyone stepped back leaving me and Harry in the front, one kid even ducked under a rock. "Well done you two, well done," Hagrid praised. Me and Harry got a shove from Ronald and stepped forward. "Ok you got to let 'im make ter first move." Hagrid instructed us on how to approach the creature. Me and Harry both bowed low, the creature then bowed back. Me and Harry went up and pet the beauty. " i think yur ready now" Hagrid picked us both up and put us on Buck-beak. Harry reluctantly, me willingly. And we were off, Buck-beak went flying in the air, me, Harry and Buck-beak were soaring in the air as Buck-beak dragged a hoof in the black lake, i held on tight to Harry, I really liked him. When we landed all i could think about was how great it felt to hold onto him like that.

Malfoy approached Buck-beak with confidence, lets just say Buck-beak didn't like that and made Malfoy yell "It's killed meh it's killed meh."
