No one's pov

"Did you hear that? Uraraka? Urarakaaa? Ochako? OCHAKO!"

The brunette was suddenly snapped out of her trance when her name was suddenly yelled at her. Her head spun round to make eye contact with her teacher, who sighed.

"I need you to listen okay? I know this is difficult but.....just try...okay?" He asked with as much empathy as he could muster.

The girl scoffed.

"Try? You want me to.....try?" She said in an almost dead tone, her head hung low.

"You don't think I've been trying?" She asked, though, the teacher knew plain well it was more of a statement.

Her head suddenly shot towards him as his eyes made contact with the brunette's blood shot ones.

"ALL I'VE BEEN DOING IS TRYING. I'VE BEEN TRYING FOR THE PAST THREE MONTHS!" She screamed. Aizawa stayed quiet, he knew that she needed this.

"Trying not to give up, trying not to just run away, TRYING NOT TO JUST PULL HIS DAMN PLUG AND WRAP IT ROUND MY THROAT! I'VE BEEN TRYING ALL THESE MONTHS SO DON'T YOU FUCKING TELL ME TO START TRYING NOW!" She screamed at the top of her lungs as all her bottled up emotions came flowing out. Tears ran down her puffy cheeks as her chest heaved with every breath she took.

The two stood, not saying anything, the only sound coming from the small whimpers Ochako made as she tried to control her emotions and regulate her breathing.

"Better?" Aizawa asked at last before the girl collapsed into his arms.

She clung to him for dear life as painful sobs escaped her, all the while Aizawa just held her, trying to comfort her. It was the least he could do.

"I just don't get why it had to turn out this way....." she whispered into his chest.

Aizawa sighed.

"I'm sorry Uraraka. I don't know what else to say except......I'm really damn sorry." He said before slowly pulling away to look her in the eye.

"But right now we have to try and get our Midoriya back. I know it's a lot to ask, but I'm going to need you to put on a brave face and walk in there with me, okay?" He asked in a slightly stern but mostly comforting voice.

She sniffled slightly and wiped a stray tear.
"Okay."

He smiled.
"That's my girl."

The teacher and student made their way to the hospital room they'd both come to know all too well. The brunette fiddled with the hem of her oversized t-shirt, well, Izuku's oversized t-shirt.

Her heart rate began to rapidly increase as they approached the door, her mind beginning to spin. She couldn't do this. She couldn't see him like that.....not again.

The teacher sensed her unease and unwillingness to approach the door. He knew she didn't want to go in, but this was something she had to face. The two had found each other as if bound by fate. They were made for each other. Being a hero was hard. The work takes a massive toll on you that you couldn't even imagine, but having someone to stand beside you makes it almost bearable. Izuku and Ochako had found their life long partners, and he wasn't about to let them let each other go.

His hand lifted and placed itself on her small shaking shoulder. Her head turned to look at him, and he smiled. Slowly, her face turned from a petrified expression to a softer expression, and he knew that she was ready. Such a small gesture and yet, it managed to calm her nerves completely.
