y/n's pov:

A couple hours went by after we finished eating. I did my best to get the situation off of the family's minds. I watched some sports event with Ed over a couple beers. I helped Nonna with laundry and Joan with cleaning the kitchen and living room.

Ariana had went in her room to get ready for the day; saying that would help her get things off her mind. I let her do her thing; I enjoyed spending time with her family anyways.

knock knock knock

Someone's fist hammering against the door caused me stop wiping the kitchen counters. The house got so quiet you could hear a pin drop. All eyes on the door. I knew Ari would be running down the stairs at any point now.

"Police!" This caused some action. Ed jumped up and raced to the door. I followed behind Nonna and Joan as they stood in the doorway that cut off the entrance from the living room.

As Edward began to open the door, I saw Ariana come in almost completely glammed up. She was still in her Pjs.

   Ari ran to my side and held onto my arm. I made an effort to physically show her I'm here and everything will be okay.

   "Edward Butera?" Ariana's dad nodded, moving aside to allow the two officers inside. They stepped in and looked at all of us; sending small smiles.

good sign?

   "It's good you are all here. We came with information on your son, Frankie." The officer looked at Ed while the other one was looking at us.

   "I'm Officer Rae, the one who sent your phone in." The officer who was looking at us said. Ari nodded.

   "We were able to find Frankie's location based off the phone call. We sent a squad to the home and effectively arrested Hugo Lincoln. We found Frankie in the bathroom; he's now at the station for questioning and a checkup for any injuries."

   I could feel the weight lift off of all of our shoulders. Ariana smiled wide and the 3 older generations let out sighs and other noises of relief.

   "Oh, thank God. Can we see him?!" Joan asked, stepping forward a bit. The man beside Officer Rae gave a sympathetic toothless smile.

   "Unfortunately, at this time nobody can see Mr. Grande. However, after questioning and the check up he'll be released and you all can pick him up from there." Edward then spoke up.

   "When will he be released?" Officer Rae then turned to look at the older man.

   "Around 6:00." He answered promptly. We nodded.

   "Okay. Any questions?" I looked around at the family; they all shook their heads.

   "Great. We were happy to help, we hope to see you at the station at 6:00. Mr. Grande will be at the front entrance and will check himself out. Have a good day, y'all." The Officer who's name I never got bids the farewell and they leave the property after the family's thank yous.
