"FUCK, this is so good." I eyed Ariana as she basically moaned while eating.

She looks up from her breakfast and at me. "What?" She asks, seeming genuinely confused. I just laugh and shake my head.

"Nothing. I'm glad you like it." I try to smile innocently, but my girlfriend's face completely blows my cover.

I start laughing harder and the brunette pouts and drops her fork, crossing her arms. "Stop laughing at me!" She whines, 'yelling' like a child.

"I-I'm sorry! I'm sorry, you're just funny." She rolls her eyes but I could tell from the ghost of her smile that she was amused too.

We were at a diner, I told her to come with me for breakfast. It's been a few weeks since I finally asked Ari to be my girlfriend and things have been great. This woman is 100% my favorite person.

"Why were you looking at me like that?" She asks again, her pointer finger now in my face.

I chuckle. "It's nothing! It was just the way you said that, that's all." She rolls her eyes, though she can't hide her amusement.

at all

"Why am I even dating you?" She asks herself, but I could tell it was all jokes. With that, I shrug. "I wonder the same thing, baby."

We finish eating and, of course, I get the bill. I pay and we're out of there. "Thank you for the food, bae. Y'know I love it when I spend time with you." She winks and kisses my cheek.

I was driving so I couldn't do much but I did glance at her to smile. "Of course, baby. I love it too." I watch her smile and sink into the seat out of my peripherals.

I take Ari home since she's going to the studio. The reason I didn't stay was because I really needed to study this movie. I've been distracting myself a little too much when it comes to my job.

I get home and, luckily, my annoying yet beloved best friends were not here. I needed to be alone for a little while.

I grabbed some snacks, the movie pamphlets and some drinks before heading downstairs. I haven't been in my basement in a long time, I felt this was a perfect opportunity.

I flipped the light switch and watched my underground chill spot come to life. I flopped onto the couch and grabbed the TV remote. I turned it on and spread my food and drinks across the coffee table.

I immediately went to YouTube and played a random playlist on low volume. After that, I opened a bag of chicks and flipped the pages to where I stopped last time.

ariana's pov:

"God, I don't wanna write today." I whined, throwing my head back onto the sofa. Vic watched me seeming surprised.

"No? I thought after you and Y/n got together you'd have a ton of inspiration." I give her a look.

"Of course I do! But that's also my problem. I can't stop thinking about her, and it makes it hard to come up with shit. It just makes me wanna be with her." My best friends laughed.
