ARIANA was strong. Despite her negative thinking, she, too, knew deep down that she was strong.
It wasn't only the fact that it had all happened to her that bothered Ariana so much. It was really the fact that everyone knew. And even worse; everyone had an opinion.
Ariana's hate for the world grew deeper and deeper the more famous she got. She could begin to understand why people like Lindsay Lohan, or Jennifer Lopez could be assholes. They are sick and fucking tired.
After the donut scandal, she knew she couldn't express that feeling to the world.
But Ariana was not a hateful person. No, not at all. Sure, she was a little green but she'd never hate on somebody who she didn't feel deserved it.
Her mother, Joan, and her grandmother, Nonna, did their best to keep Ariana grounded. Once the younger Grande hit A-List celebrity level, they did their damndest to keep her head out of the clouds. Sure, there were a few smoke and mirrors moments but to be fair, Ariana did a pretty good job.
Plus, nobody's perfect.
Ariana has grieved a lot of loss. She seemed to almost attract it. Sure, it hurt her like hell but man did it completely shatter who she was and build back up a stronger version. Ariana probably wouldn't say it out loud, but she was almost glad these things happened to her.
At least she becomes wiser, and wiser, and wiser.
ariana's pov:
"Just like that, okay, now Ariana if you'd just come over here for me. ." I allow myself to be directed and pushed around for the perfect picture. My makeup done to perfection while my makeup artist watched with a proud smile on her face.
"And 1, 2, one more turn to the left! Alright perfect. We're done for the day." The lights dimmed and the cameras moved away from pointing at me. Almost immediately, my makeup artist and hair stylist approached me for a few simple touch ups.
"Great job, Ari!" Scooter came up with a big, money-eating smile on his face. I laughed.
"As long as you get paid, huh, Scoot." His smile dropped to a smirk.
"You know it! C'mon, you've got a radio performance in less than an hour." I nodded and stood up from the chair. I just finished up shooting for Givenchy. I had another day of shooting coming up but for now, it was finally done.
After I changed back into my clothes, we were walking out of the building and heading towards the back; where the car would be. Scooter, me, and my team behind us. We traveled in a semi-large group so the others had to take another elevator.
We walked out of the elevator and I was secretly hoping to bump into Y/n again. Unfortunately, that was not the case and instead some random 50+ year old man was there politely waiting for us to move. I gave him a small, friendly smile and kept walking.
