Special Night {Part 1} (Chapter 1)

[Mk's POV]

On a casual Friday afternoon, I was doing deliveries for Pigsy. It was surprisingly busy today, so orders were coming through the phone like crazy. One second I was in the store then the next I'm already halfway down the street. Even though this was a good thing cause Pigsy would get happy and pay me extra, it was also a bad thing. I had promised Redson that I would take him somewhere lovely tonight as 'friends', my true intentions are to confess. Mei already knows about this and promises not to bother. Let's be clear here, she's going to be hiding somewhere with a camera and in an awful costume. 

I have been debating on where to take him, he is a prince after all and I want it to be as unique as him. I could take them to a fancy dinner, but I don't have that much money to pay for the food, and I don't want him to pay. I don't want this date to be like a simple picnic or dinner...  'I could take him to watch a movie!' ... I don't know what type of movies he watches. I don't even know if he actually watches any movies. Now that I think more about Redson I realize I barely know anything about him, this is like taking a shot in the dark. This date could be a complete disaster or a success. I had to cut my thoughts short as I turned into the neighborhood, As I pulled in front of a house for their delivery, I put on my usual smile and knocked on their door with the food in my hands. "Pigsy's Deliver!" A little girl stood in front of me holding her hands out to carry the food, "MAMA! LA COMIDA ESTÁ AQUÍ! " I lowered myself to the ground so she could reach the food, "Disfrutar!"  I told her and she smiled at me, taking the food into the house and kicking the door shut behind her. I sighed receiving a text message from Pigsy

Great, if I can hurry back I'll still have time to get prepared and pick up Redson! I check the time while running over to the car, 4:23, about 30 minutes.

I hopped into the car and stomped on the gas. The car immediately dashed down the road at top speed, I ran through lights before turning red, sharp turns, and quickly switched over to the break once I came to the shop.  As I rushed through the shop to my room and dug through my dresser and closet. Still facing the same problem. "Where do I take him?" ...  Then a thought popped into my head, why not take him everywhere? I don't think he actually got a chance to explore the city and why not a better time to go site seeing than at night? This was perfect, we could experience mostly everything and it could stay in my price range! The more I thought about this idea, the more it excited me. Let's just hope that he isn't angry that has to walk. I shouldn't wear anything too fancy, it's a nighttime walk or tour if you consider it one. Thanks to Mei I was able to get new clothes, I picked out a white shirt with a grey button-up shirt. A necklace with a Ruby on it and causal jeans. Of course, I will have to treat Mei for giving me these items. 

Skipping down the stairs excitedly, I ran behind the counter and gulped down two full glasses of water, "Uhm, Mk?... I wouldn't recommend drinking so much of that, it has a funny color to it. Something might have gotten into it." Tang said from the counter, Pigsy was sitting down next to tang playing with cards. I put the empty glass down and smacked my lips, it did taste a bit...sweet? But I ignored it. I said goodbye to them, "Good Luck, kiddo!" I heard Pigsy call out as I left the shop. I started to walk down the road, remembering where we decided to meet up. I know it's a bad time to check to make sure you have everything when you are one mile away from your home, but I didn't wanna run late, also luck had been on my side this time. I had: my wallet, phone, gum, and... wait, weren't I suppose to pick a gift for her? CRAP! Ah, never mind where would we even put the gift? We would be walking around. I started to jog when I got closer to the destination. A flower shop, where Redson stood there admiring the flowers in his ''professional'' ways or so he claims. 

[3rd Person] 

"Red!" Mk calls out to him, smiling excitedly. The prince quickly straightens his posture, trying to look mature. Even though they looked composed, he was completely freaking out. She was quietly thanking the gods that his face and hair weren't trying to break his disguise. Mk stood in front of Redson, admiring him. He broke the silence with a chuckle, ''You look so cute, your hair looks amazing like that!" He said. The demon was slightly taken back by the compliment, he wasn't expecting them to say something about his outfit. Truth be told, he spent 3 hours trying to figure out what to wear. She didn't want to wear something too formal but due to his lack of normal clothes, it was kinda hard to pick.  As well with the hair, he couldn't decide if he should put it up into their normal ponytail or wear it down. Decided to wear it up half up and half down.

"Really...? I MEAN, of course, I do, noodle boy!"  A small was visible as he looked away. Mk took her hand and pulled them, "Your surprise is a NIGHTTIME TOUR of the city!" Mk said proudly, Redson stumbled a little bit before walking normally beside Mk, trying to ignore the fact that they were already holding hands. "S...so, that means we're walking and not just to a place but, everywhere?" Mk laughed, "It's not as bad as you think, you'll be able to see the city at its finest! It will be great, I promise." He somehow managed to make it sound like this was a simple walk in a park, but of course, Redson will have to see for himself how truly 'great' of a plan this is. "I already have some places that you will like, just relax and handle this!" 

'Was this how friends were supposed to treat each other?' Redson thought 'Doing things for each other, just to please them? It sounds stupid, putting all this effort into one night just for one enjoyment.' But he couldn't help the fact that the thought of Mk had planned this just for him did make his heart beat faster. Maybe he will enjoy tonight a little more than he planned.

Hello! I'm back >;D Summer started a few days ago but I have to take a trip to my grandparents, luckily I was able to make this story here. I hope you guys are enjoying your summer so far and to the people who still have school: ...lol imagine/J 

I tried to make sure that I used mixed pronouns for Redson.

Also, the headcanon that Mk knows different languages due to his customers teaching him how to say certain things in different languages, so Translation: LA COMIDA ESTÁ AQUÍ! - The food is here\ Disfrutar - Enjoy. Hopefully google translate isn't backstabbing me.
