He walks over to me, carefully and slowly.
Omg omg omg! 😲
When he gets in front of me he lifts his head up and rubs the back of his neck awkwardly.
"Um... I am... So, so so sorry. I-"
"It's fine," I reasure him.
"No, it isn't. Because of me you almost died!" He disagrees. "If only, I wasn't stubborn and stupid maybe everything would be fine! But no! Your..." I stare into his sorry eyes, me almost crying myslef.
"...Nevermind...." He gently calms down.
"I'm what!?" I yell back angrily.
"I said nevermind!" He argues back. As he tries to walk away.
"Tell me!" I demand shoving him.
He gets mad. "YOUR HIS!" He tells finally which makes me calm down and he does too.
Silence breaks through between each other as we both slowly calm down, both slowly falling to the floor.
"I'm sorry Mai," he apologizes.
"No. It's okay..." I tell him.
"No wonder your not with me," I look him in the eye, "I'm too stupid," and he buries himself in his arms.
Omg what do I do? I don't know what the frick to do!!
"Hey, don't be too hard on yourself," I tell him.
"But it's the truth, huh?" He asks me.
"No, it's not."
"Why then?"
"Becuase..." He looks up from his black hoodie's sleeves at me. "It's because I'm dumb okay!?" I exclaim crying.
"It's because my whole life I've let everyone step all over me and I've lost so, so much! I just can't think of losing you Baek!" I confess through tears that just wouldn't stop.
Baek scoots towards me and comforts me.
"Mai... I'm sorry.... I just...." He sighs.
"You just can't control you emotions sometimes. Sometimes they get," I say.
"Out of control," We both say at the same time.
"Look, Baek I'm sorry that I turned on you, I just was kind of mad at you," I apologize.
"It's fine," He tells me, "So, I heard you wanted-"
The ground rumbles a bit and then stops.
"What was that?" I ask, trembling in fear. Baek tried to act brave but I knew he was cowering on the inside.
It rumbls again but even more, and I grip onto Baek's arm in fear. He smirks a bit but I smack his arm.
"Ow," He whines cutely. I roll my eyes cuz now is not the time.
Both our phones ding at the same time and we check it.
Warning: Earthquake
Get to low ground and evacuate to the nearest building
I feel really scared and frightened as I read it but Baek shakes me out of it.
"Come on," He tells me and I follow him down two sets of stairs and we go into his office on the first floor.
"Aww I like it," I tell him as I look around which makes him blush.
I get a text from Kyong.
