drunk on pain

mel woke up later this day, it was around 12pm, this wouldn't normally bother her but she woke up and geri wasn't home. all she wishes is that she was okay.

hadn't seen her

melanie was sat worried sick for hours until she decided to go to the pub, to relax. when she got there she was shocked to her core to see geri there. a very drunken geri.

mel walked up to her with a fake anger to get a reaction out of geri.

"geri what are you doing."
'it's my birthday babeee'
"it's tomorrow, please come home. we need to sober you up."
'nope i'm gonna have a good night tonight.'
"yes with me come on."
'blehhhhh fine.'

geri stood up and was so drunk she immediately hit the deck, spilling vodka down both herself and mel. when they got in a cab geris drunken mind got a hold of her and she started kissing mels neck. mel normally would love this but she couldn't take advantage of an ill, drunk geri like that. she calmly removed geri from her neck and placed their hands together.

they got into geris house and melanie basically carried geri up the stairs, she couldn't hold her own body weight. mel sat on the couch and pulled geri down so her head is on mels lap.

geri fell asleep in her drunk state and left mels lap with the strong scent of vodka.

early hours in the morning, geri woke up and ran to the bathroom.

this is when it started clicking for mel.
the love of her life is spending her own birthday making herself sick with alcohol poisoning.

mel didn't have the strength, she burst out crying silently into the pillow and just pretended to be asleep when geri came back in. mel was prepared to just kiss geri, but she couldn't spring even more on her at this point.

melanie was now going to have to pretend she didn't know why geri went out all day yesterday. she was trying not to hurt mels feelings, she wanted it to be as natural as possible.

being in love with geri had its flaws.
but this woman was so worth it.
no matter what she had to do to get her to open up, she knew it was gonna work.
