The loud cheers and chants of the crowd welcome us at FilOil Flying V Center. There are almost 6,000 people here and they are chanting for their team. This is the opening of UAAP Season 90 and I am a bit nervous about the game because I know that all teams really prepared for this season. We are now warming up and we have almost an hour before the game start.

All I can hear from the arena is the noise from the audience but somehow it boost some of our confidence.

"Ladies we got this!Remember our goal?"malakas na sambit ni Coach Joseph sa amin

"PASS IT BETTER,SET IT HIGHER,HIT IT HARDER AND GIVE IT ALL YOU GOT!"malakas na sigaw naming lahat

"FilOil Flying V Center, are you ready?"malakas na sambit ng host na lalong nagpaingay sa mga tao

The National Anthem starts to play and it were followed by the opening prayer. They also introduced the two national referees. We started to line up because the game will start.

"Here are the starters beginning with the reigning and defending women's champion, Ateneo de Manila Lady Eagles!"panimula ng host at rinig namin ang sigawan ng mga supporters namin pati na rin ang paggalaw ng mga lobo na kulay asul

"Number 14, Team Captain, Avery Armani"

"Number 17,The starting libero, Janus Fonte"

"Number 21, Chloe Tan"

We are now at the right side of the court while they're introducing the starting line ups of UST.

"Kaya natin 'to guys!"I said to cheer them up

"Part 1 Ateneo vs. UST" sambit ng host kaya pumwesto na kami sa starting position namin

Abby is the first one to serve....

"For serving, number 2 , Abigail Bermudez" after saying that the sound of whistle follows and Abby hit the ball

It goes directly on the opponents and they receive it well. They're ready to spike it that's why we're now ready to dig it.

Cess, our setter is in front of me but she glance for a second and smile and I knew it. She's going to send the ball on me. She acts to send it to Abby but she pushes it towards me and then I jump and hit the ball. I got the first point and the crowd went loud again.Cess serve again but it is a service error this time so the points goes on the opponent and they're going to serve too.

The game is really tight and the score is so close. The score is 8-5 which is in favor of us and we have our first technical time out.

"You did great guys! Avery keep it up the same with all of you pero wag tayong makampante. The opponent has a tight blocking so we need to have a technique. You're rotation——check it"Coach Joseph said while we are around him

The game starts again and I am going to serve this time....

"Serving, Number 14, Team Captain, Avery Armani!"
